big pic
Not obvious what the variables are but at a glance it makes sense to note that MAID is way undervalued by the market. Too many looking for a quick fix and not investing with sense for what the projects or developers are doing. Good to see then some level of criticism measuring across projects. SAFE will only do well if the reality is reflected.

Why don't you put Maid on the Bitfinex ?
Bitfinex perhaps should choose to do so themselves. The devs are busy and not minded to pander to traders but I would like to see MAID more easily available and more widely known. Chainrift seems to have committed to seeing them through to the exchange onto the SAFE network once that's stable and proven for adopting currency.. which is nice. Putting up the MAID to fuel an exchange is a big ask when everyone who knows is holding. But yeah.. more exchanges the better for price and the underlying funding for the project. "They are busy and not minded to pander to traders", yet they partner with an exchange that doesn't even appear on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/maidsafecoin/markets/So why not partner with Bitfinex ?

Chainrift are working on getting included in that detail.. they're now listed in the exchanges if you search for them but they have CMC's hoops to jump. => https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/chainrift/So why not partner with Bitfinex ?
Refer to my previous answer: Putting up the MAID to fuel an exchange is a big ask, when everyone who knows is holding. If you're fighting Bitfinex's corner, argue with them about why they don't take the initiative to list MAID for themselves. All they need to do is put up the MAID themselves. It's an open competition.. if they did that they could take the advantage.. the reason Chainrift is an option now, is because they noted the opportunity when Poloniex fouled up. See your opportunity and take it.. that's business. Us users just prefer what is made available and useful. All exchanges should be wanting to associate with SAFE project, just for the kudos. The medium term is obviously a transition to SAFE network hosting the currency but exchanges would do well get established, as option then to become a well used bridge of fiat to safecoins on the network.

Yes, well spotted.. it's disappointing but business is business.
Also, surely it's equally true that > It's time for Bitfinex to list Maidsafe.
Buyers and sellers will come to markets that are available. It's surely fair to expect any admins running an exchange, should know well already that this is a key project in the ecosystem and longstanding and with potential to spark interest from all flavours of buyers.

A note from the MaidSafe Foundation on the current Covid-19 pandemicActivities for three age groups The MaidSafe Foundation – which is a registered Scottish charity – supports the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) as well as Art. With the Covid-19 pandemic now closing schools in many parts of the world, you may be worried about keeping your children occupied and educated. To try and help you, we have put together some fun activities that have been compiled using STEM teaching guidelines here in the UK. The activities cover three age groups with two projects for each. As a guide, the Early level activities are for ages 3 to 5, the First level for ages 6 to 8 and the Second level for ages 9 to 11. To receive your free resources, simply email info@maidsafe.foundation... for more see today's developer update at https://safenetforum.org/t/safe-network-dev-update-march-26-2020/31360

We're all keen to see a final release but creating something robust, does take time and testing. If you want to contribute, then keep up to date on the forum and submit a few bug reports towards repositories at https://github.com/maidsafe/ or feedback on the safenetforum. Anyone can test their experience of what is being released each week against they expectation and feedback. The mobile browser; desktop browser; commandline interface, all progressing well and at pace. Get on the forum and look for the update category = https://safenetforum.org/c/development/updates/The more contributions from those interested and who understand the potential, the faster it'll be out and available for everyone else.

Omni Layer: Activation of trading any pair on the distributed exchangeMaidSafeCoin <-> BTC Beginning with Bitcoin block 627250, which is expected to be on or about 23rd April, 2020, a new version of the distributed exchange on the Omni Layer protocol goes live. After the activation, it will be possible to trade any token for bitcoins, e. g. Omni, MaidSafeCoin, USD₮ or Agoras without any third party involved. Omni Core 0.8.0+ users can use the new feature as soon as it is available and Omni Wallet users not in restricted jurisdictions will have access shortly thereafter through https://www.omniwallet.org/
In order to take advantage of the new transaction processing improvements, please upgrade to Omni Core 0.8.1 … Please see: https://github.com/OmniLayer/omnicore/releasesTo avoid any consensus divergences, for example when a user with an old version considers a transaction as valid, while it is actually invalid under new rules, Omni Core versions lower than 0.8.0 will go into a fail-safe state after the activation and will no longer be started without falling out of consensus with the network. More at https://blog.omni.foundation/2020/04/09/activation-of-trading-any-pair-on-the-distributed-exchange/https://twitter.com/Omni_Layer/status/1248322647500488704?s=20Reasons to be cheerful

hmm there is no sport in such easy challenge Your bitcointalk ID is 7 digits long!.. I don't tend to talk to noobs If you became interested in 2010 like I did you would have signed up to this forum.. so, I expect perhaps you caught on 2013. It is 2020 now. > ARPANET adopted TCP/IP on January 1, 1983, and from there researchers began to assemble the “network of networks” that became the modern Internet. The online world then took on a more recognizable form in 1990, when computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. Your talk of Gopher, Veronica and Archie, reminds me of 1994.. Do math. Also, I have fond memories of Gopher and X. Still maidsafe is doing wonders in progressing this and the next round of testing is likely to be joined sections - that is huge. Downhill from there. To be honest I wonder the cryptogeneration is lazy and wanting immediate returns for zero effort. This is one of the most interesting projects out there.. by a mile!If you want to level fair criticism, then log a few bugs. Check out the latest tools on the safenetforum 2nd Apr and later posts and look to feedback through maidsafe's github.. and development will be all the faster for it.
