Article mentioning Karma with a link to givekarma.net...

"Karma, another cryptocurrency, issues digital money based upon people’s good deeds."

http://thenextweb.com/insider/2015/03/23/get-ripped-or-die-mining-how-fitcoin-can-make-you-a-bitcoin-fortune-at-the-gym/

whoa. that awesome. Karma is really a great coin. good will always prevail. As long as we focus on the doing good and not so much of being rich from it. It's one of those coin of giving and sharing, not hoarding it.

Speaking of giving. That is something i should start doing...

While you focus on doing good ...... other coins evolve !!! You may find it sad but a fact. Reference Monero, Dark, etc .....
And before you call me a troll ... I will say that unless fudge, here in the topic has nothing in particular, how, when and how developed coin developers! Too bad ......

lol nahh it couldn't have been the stolen coins from the exchanges that had a negative effect on karm's price nah not at all, which they're working on fixing. One step at a time, once they get that straightened out then they can start looking to evolve their coin.

Your efforts to sending back Karma from mintpal are appreciated but your database seems so old

the biggest transfert of karma were done at the end of August before the announcement of Kosmost, billions of karma were dumped.
So with your system the guy who dumped so much karma at that time will get back his billions freely when those who buy it would be cheated a second time. (they lost value on their coin , then their coin will be returned to the dumper)
The Dumper will have your cake and eat it too.

Is there any chance to start with the mintpalv2 database, the one that mintpal exposed for months in their webpage for recover fund.

edit: I didn't remember exactly when mintpal was disable for the transfert to v2, maybe the dump I'm talking about was done only on crptsy

Wich you courage anyway for that process.

What is the exact date? If the database is older than 10th. September, KARM is dead. Billions will return to scam artist KOSMOS. If you do not have fresh database, than your work is useless. I bought most of my KARM after KOSMOS dumped them. Mintpal went down in the middle of the september. Most dumping happened 31 October to 7th september. Any database older than 7th. september is useless.

EDIT: I wanted to write 31th August to 7th September. Not 31th October, sorry, stupid error.

BullShit! Don't talk like that about *Kosmost!

Anyone protecting scammers is stupid or scammer. Kosmost never proved any of his claims. He never showed a single proof of anything. Just lot of lies, big stories and huge losses.  For me and many others he is a scammer, doesn't matter what you think.

oh ok that's a much better date ! it would mean that every exchange is counted till the dead of mintpal.

but then there is still something not clear, if it's a 1st october database then it's mintpalv2 not mintpal v1, no ?
Why did you said at some point that the database you got was not the last one?

truthfully i am not sure who was the owner of mintpal by october 1st. all we know is that sometime on october 10th mintpal went off line and then re emerged as mintpal v2 under moolah. I believe that moolah had already bought mintpal by october 1st but probably was using the same old team to run the show until he decided to shut it off and then lunch it again.

As i said. i too am confused with this whole process. maybe after the 1st moolah had access to newer databases. Maybe he never bothered to save them. All we know is that Fedous was able to retrieve this data base and wallet. This is what i have and we have to do with what we got.

The good thing is that every major trade was done before october 1st. so the database it's not that bad. By using this database we are not reflecting any trades done between some time on October 1st to October 10th and then anything traded on MintpalV2

You should really keep the Mintpal / Karma content in a seperate thread as although it's is important to Karma it creates a lot of noise on the thread clogging everything else up.

Also do you have access to the site you advertise (http://www.givekarma.net)? As the block explorer link on that site doesn't work you should point it to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/karm/# for now as to build services for Karma people will need a API.

well ..

1375 emails sent out for the process
around only 20 have bounced back so i think this is a success
twitted with @cryptowho @_karmateam_
made a post on r/karmateam on reddit
posted on most of facebook groups already.

I think i covered most of the angles. good luck everyone and hurry up and fill the claims.

For any questions go to http://forum.givekarma.net/index.php?topic=54.15

I will try to avoid answering here to not make this ANN thread about Mintpal lost coins. You can DM on many other social channels or make a post in that forum.

Also , i would really appreciate if you take a moment and support or social accounts and create an account in our forums.

Some thoughts:
I know this words will not get karma back in $3 million market cap but even in these quiet time, people still talk about us. Doing good, there is honor in that. Lets start to focus how we can re group and continue where we left off.

Most of the times we make the news it's not about the price rise but our effort to reward good humans around the world. Block chain technology makes it possible to donate a small amount of fiat and keep that value and not loose it to middle man. This will be the best solution for a coin as ours. Being able to use Karma as a micro donations to help those who the rest of the world can not do it in such effectiveness.

Just hang in there. Rome was not built in one day. In most of your eyes, Karma is not moving the way you wished. That's alright to think that way. But we are moving alongside with the crypto-movement. Bitcoin is our father. We did not have our chance to prosper yet , but bitcoin is! It won't be long now until people will be able to buy crypto with fiat as easy as making an fast online purchase thanks to crypto-movement. This is why i encourage you all to support as many good coins as you can.

This is where we should flourish. We have to remember this is a coin of giving. I can see it in the near future, where we come together and donate $1 worth. Use our Karma block chain to move these donation with the best effectiveness way ( from one address to an other with out loosing much value of the micro donation sum ) , converting and rewarding the fiat to the chosen

Good deeds are never forgotten.

This should be the coin for those who want to help , without putting their self interest first.

I don't think this is too late for Karma...
Even if Kosmost didn't disband Karmashares and return peoples money I doubt he would have been able to deliver on his promises anyway. He clearly was not getting the help he needed and clearly was not able to fulfil the commitments he made to investors.

Also Mintpal would also have collapsed regardless.

I'm just glad people will be able to get their coins back so that the community can grow the coin organically.

Hello, I had 1206428.17621567 KARM in Cryptsy, but I decided to transfer them to a Karma wallet on my PC. I haven't had my wallet updated for more than a year and I decided to do it today. The sync process is now to 0 hours and 601340 of 754382 (estimated) blocks, but on the Overview window of the wallet it says Wallet/Recent transactions out of sync and I see 0.00 KARM in my balance. On the addresses tab, I can see, that the address is the same (the one, to which I've sent my KARMA coins from cryptsy). My question is: Where are my coins? Why am I not seing them in the balance? What can I do to find my coins? Should I wait for those blocks to update? I'll appreciate any answers. Thank you!
