So my daemon is telling me I need a new version (duh) so when I'm looking for the windows 64 bit version of Hydrogen Helix the getmonero.org site still says 0.9.1.0 Any idea when the 0.9.2.0 will be available for download?

I believe 0.9.2 is mislabeled as 0.9.1 and that will be fixed when that bug saying you need a new version is fixed. Any 0.9.x version is ok for the hard fork although 0.9.2 is better.

Dear DEVSon https://getmonero.org/downloads/ the downloads say 0.9.1 but actually the Linux, MAC and Win 64bit binaries are 0.9.2Could you be so kind to correct that with the according Hashes on the Homepage I did mention this earlier

This coin needs some promotion or a killer app, being only anon worked before but now it needs something new. Its undervalued despite how good it is.. The best crypto note project.
look at top 20 marketcap, imagine for a second you wanna move partially away from BTC and search another STORE OF VALUE type Blockchain, then go through the options ,..., no killer app needed Well said. Monero does what no other anonymous coins can do and I do mean ALL of them. Once we have the GUI wallet, I think we will probably cross the .01 threshod within months. And I am not sure dash will be able to maintain its price then. I heard the backdoor slam as the Dasholes left the building yesterday, they couldn't take another day of gains for Monero. I can remember the days not so long ago the Dash/Dark people were over here trashing Monero. Their volume has gone low and the price has been dropping. Pre-Mine scam coins do that in the long run.

use transfer 0 for 200xmr to poloniex.com ,fee is 0.4 xmr, does that too high?
Where are you sending from? The default fee is 0.01 XMR per KB. It could very well be that you have a lot of dust in your wallet. Did you mine to it?

Bump, still no progress from the pools listed below. All others have upgraded and are safe to mine on. Also, if you get this message when running bitmonerod: Last scheduled hard fork time shows a daemon update is needed now You can safely ignore that as long as you are on any Hydrogen Helix version (i.e. 0.9.x). I urge community members to please send a mail as well to the pools listed in my previous comment urging them to upgrade. Any Hydrogen Helix version is fine (0.9.x). Alternatively, miners should move their hash away from it and go to a pool that has already upgraded. A list of pools can be found here: https://monerohash.com/#networkBump, none of the pools listed below have upgraded yet. However, Minergate said they will upgrade soon, see: https://twitter.com/MinerGate/status/710727384136335361PSA: Users, (solo)miners, exchanges/merchants, and pooloperators must be on 0.9.x (preferably 0.9.2) in advance of the hardfork otherwise you will get forked/booted off the network. If you are mining on one of the following pools, please contact your poolop immediately or switch to another pool.
Approximately the 23th of March there will be a hardfork on the Monero network. Most pools have upgraded, but some have not yet. If they don't upgrade before the hardfork they will get forked/booted off the network. As a result you will miss out on revenue if you are mining on these pools. Thus, if you are mining on the following pools, please contact your pool owner as soon as possible and urge them to upgrade. Alternatively, you can switch to a pool that is on the right version. FYI: You can plug the blockheader of your pool into " http://moneroblocks.info/api/get_block_header/hash_of_blockheader". The minor_version must show "minor_version: 2". This means that the pool is on the right version. If it shows "0" or "1" the pool is on an outdated version. An example of a pool on the right version (Monerohash): http://moneroblocks.info/api/get_block_header/2a88740443bf654e595bba7061509e6a3a80623da5de2478c4a90b45454a7fa8List of pools that haven't upgraded yet: List of pools that have upgraded:You can find most pools here: https://monerohash.com/#networkSome of the aforementioned pools are listed there as well. If you are switching, avoid the aforementioned pools. Binaries:Monero v0.9.2 - Hydrogen Helix - released! (Urgent and important bug fixes for the upcoming hard fork)https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/releases/tag/v0.9.2<fluffypony> will do shasums / gpg signed mesage tomorrow Information from Github: This has urgent and important bug fixes to 0.9.0 Hydrogen Helix - Major performance and size improvements to the LMDB database implementation
- Urgent and important bug fixes for the upcoming hard fork
- Huge bug fixes to the database hard fork handling
- New simplewallet flag to restore from keys
- Initial work on a wallet library / API
- Updated in-source block headers
General hardfork information:Background: https://forum.getmonero.org/4/academic-and-technical/303/a-formal-approach-towards-better-hard-fork-managementWhat are the change(s) with the upcoming hard fork on the 20th of March? - Blocktime is bumped from 1 to 2 minutes. See:
https://forum.getmonero.org/20/general-discussion/2401/increasing-the-block-time- Minimum blocksize is bumped to 60 KB. See:
https://forum.getmonero.org/20/general-discussion/2409/increasing-the-minimum-block-sizeA big advantage of this is that current individual transactions that sometimes won't go through (because they are a bit above the median due to many outputs (e.g. dust), or the daemon / MyMonero rejects them for some reason) can easily be included in the block without incurring a penalty. Above is a bit of a blunt explanation, I am sure one of the core-team members / developers could give you a more detailed explanation. - Finally, the recommendations from the MRL team stated in MRL-0004, of which the minimum mixin >= 3 is probably the most salient. See:
https://lab.getmonero.org/pubs/MRL-0004.pdfP.S. Due to variance the hard fork will likely be on the 21th or 22th of March. A specific block height was determined for the hardfork, not a specific date. The specific blockheight for the hardfork can be found here: https://github.com/monero-project/bitmonero/blob/master/src/cryptonote_core/blockchain.cpp#L83// version 2 starts from block 1009827 P.P.S. As long as you are on any 0.9.x version in advance of the hardfork you are fine.

I have issues with dash as well, but you won't see me raising them in a Monero thread. This thread is under hands-free moderation, so we need to police ourselves. I think the decent thing to do, if you want to badmouth some other coin, is to take it to an appropriate thread. Go to the lion's den, or stake out a neutral ground. Don't please drag Monero into your beef. If there are observations relating to speculation, please take them to a speculation thread.

There are no v0.9.3 64-bit binaries released yet, correct? The 'unofficial 32-bit 0.9.3 binaries' can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/4bfojf/unofficial_monero_0930_32bit_builds/Edit: I just can't believe fluffypony went to bed. You mean like how you don't drag your beef with Core and consequent Bitcoin Obituary badmouthing into Monero threads? Making XMR supporters look like we need/want Bitcoin to fail in order for our success isn't a decent thing to do. As the long-term leader by market cap (and soda machines) in the privacy-coin space, Dash is entirely relevant to XMR discussion. Point about speculation taken; I'll move the convo to our trollbox thread since it was more about price than technology. Back on topic: Why doesn't Polo have an ETH/XMR pair? Polo's top two coins, one of which saved them from their stolen losses and the other that made them the #1 altcoin exchange, are not available for direct conversion? Why bother having XMR pairs at all if only low volume shitcoins are listed?

Why doesn't Polo have an ETH/XMR pair? Obvious thing to do is make a support ticket and request it. Certainly seems like a reasonable request to me.

At this point it is probably best to just move. If they haven't updated now with a 33 hours left they're likely a lost cause. Move your miners now and avoid wasting your hash rate.

Most safe strictly for cold storage is a paper wallet. Here is a guide: linkIf you want a lightweight GUI wallet you can occasionally use to transact, try this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903579.0I think you could use it on a computer that is kept offline most of the time.
