Crypto-pool.fr got booted off for the first 12 blocks or so, but they are finding blocks again now.

He didn't get booted off, the fork was NOT COMPATIBLE with pool software. Onishin is a smart guy, i'm not surprised he fixed it in to time (still took him longer than me Smiley )

No, the pool software was not updated to support a well publicised fork, even though testnet was forked months ago and available for testing. Why and how would a hard fork support outdated software??

This was a ninja fork, poorly executed. You, the dev team, are amateurs. I'd be worried what other nasties will show up... 2 min blocks are a terrible idea in the first place.. How come the miners didn't get a say ?

Well my current hash rate seems to be 32% , should i try to do a double spend ?

I have never heard anyone complain as much as you do. I'd say that you're like an old Italian mother, but that would be an insult to both Italians and women. Your attitude and behaviour is appalling, your parents must be disgusted to have raised a dim boy with such poor manners and such a limited world view.

Get a clue, primer-, you're an embarrassment to nobody but yourself.

I tried to get a dev donation transaction in on the fork block, but it got confirmed far too late. Smiley

I hit send as soon as I saw 1009826 but it didn't get confirmed until 1009844. Ohwell - glad to see this was a non-event for most users. GJ Devs!

That was a really successful HF, thanks for all the hard work devs of the 'Monero Project'!

(and as well dEBRUYNE for all the information provided from every corner of the Monero habitat)

- You can figure out what will happen, not when /Warren Buffett
- Pay any Bitcoin address privately with a little help of Monero.

There was a backlog of some transactions that were a bit too large to fit in normal blocks before the fork, and those filled most of the first 10-20 blocks after the fork. Things seem back to normal now.

Instead I would suggest that you learn how mining works. You got lucky there, or your hash rate is much higher than you claim. Probably the latter.

Moreover their pool software is heavily customized. That was likely the cause of most pool problems across the board. The basic open source pool code we crowdfunded back in the early days seems to have worked fine.

Quote
"Two minute block times are a bad idea anyway."

Cheesy Cheesy  ok, you went to far.  No one who runs a mining pool would ever actually hold such a belief.  Obviously two minute block times are superior to single minute blocks.  In fact, 2 minutes is probably the bare minimum that a proof-of-work Blockchain should have given the current state of technology.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

Primer's not a professional troll, just a kvetch.
Look past his bitching and moaning, and judge him only by his actions' net effect.
Maybe he's not such a bad person.
I should know the difference between drama and misdemeanor; I am occasionally guilty of the former myself.

Onishin's pool now doing way over 50% with less than 3MH/s. Let me guess, he's just lucky.  I had 1% total hash rate before the fork, over 15% now.
