I haven't seen this before. However, you should be able to access the wallet from backed up wallet.bin files. Remember to always exit the wallet with "exit".
No backup. Is it possible to recover from wallet.bin.keys and wallet.bin.address.txt? It appears bitmonerod wiped my wallet.bin I am not sure, but I think you should be able to. wallet.dat I believe includes all the regenerated private keys using your master key (wallet.bin.keys) and nonces found on the blockchain. However, getting it to rescan all the blocks is a problem. Let me look at the source code. You might be able to get it to manually rescan by deleting the blockchain data in .bitmonero, starting the daemon and the wallet, letting the daemon download all the blocks again, and then entering "refresh" in the wallet.

update on pools: The NOMP guy (zone117x) is looking to fork his open source software and get a pool going, so one should hopefully be up soon.
update on faucet: Free monero has been sent to everyone who PM'd me.

type "exit" then restart the daemon. I get this error as well but intermittently. Should I be worried? Everything seems fine but how would I confirm that I'm mining? My hashrate fluctuates between 13 and 14. How do I know if I found a block? Thanks tacotime for the MRO!

type "exit" then restart the daemon. Thanks, Yeah I guessed it would solve the problem, but it will reappear once the SERVER_SEND_QUE is full, or does this is just temporary flooding ?

Not quite; with a newer Intel Quad at 16 H/s, you will still get 2.5 blocks per day or so at difficulty 565000.

You can install it alongside Windows. There is an option in the installer to do so. So you just burn the 13.10 iso or put it on a USB with RUFUS and boot, install

great news I am starting to think that CryptoNoteCoins could be implemented in the black markets. Bitcoin is too transparant for black markets... Let's all hope so and smoke some weed Haha, I think its only a question of time with Silk Road 3 on BMR if its gets some adoption
