Bittrex allows deposits/withdrawels but why not mintpal?

Mintpal mentioned in IRC that they are working on getting their wallet updated and back online.

I had a support ticket with MintPal nearly 2 days ago. Tonight, when I nagged them about it and informed them that many other places have had it DONE for hours, they said they had it done too, but won't make it available because they don't have confidence in the fix.

Mintpal mentioned in IRC that they are working on getting their wallet updated and back online.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

We are Ready to go to the moon now.

I hope it will be slow and steady - no spikes until 2015!
This way we can get rid of pumpers and dumpers.

Nevertheless those 1500 btc shoul be put at 518 to help sustain the price and give people way out. Devs are not obliged to do this but this would be nice PR move.

Finally we are live and ready for SYScoin mining.

Take a look @ http://syscoin.dutchminingpools.com/

DutchMiningPools tries to provide a simple but clean interface, full of all the statistics that you as a miner would want to see.
We are a mining pool that uses PPLNS (Pay per Last N Shares) with a 1% fee.
High performance NOMP Node.js backend
You can choose a set difficulty port or a vardif port
Automatic payout to your receive address when a block is found and confirmed

For the SYS Coin Difficulty 256 use stratum+tcp://dutchminingpools.com:3011 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword
For the SYS Coin VARDIF use stratum+tcp://dutchminingpools.com:3035 -u Weblogin.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

It would be unethical for the devs to put in a prop. You want 1500 BTC at 518, you put it there from your own coin. Let the market do what it will naturally do.

Nevertheless those 1500 btc shoul be put at 518 to help sustain the price and give people way out. Devs are not obliged to do this but this would be nice PR move.

I edited my post to fix a typo and a formatting problem. Nothing else was changed.

For sure. That's why I posted about it here. If the devs want, I have the emails from MintPal to prove what they said. I can forward with the headers and all.

[...] I want state am more then ok and satisfied with how the dev team have reacted and responded right from launch mess, it sure was a clusterfuck but as like some others I see great potential in SYS and the devs over the last couple of days have done well to coordinate the forking with all the pool ops and exchanges for us all now to be on the same page. [...]

Yeah, they did a good job fixing the problems during the last hours. In fact, they did exactly what they had to do during the 4 moths of preparation so as not to waste our time and money. But let's move forward...

EDIT: they seem to have the capacity and coding skill, but they need to be much better organized!

So the launch fiasco is over?

It'd be good to get a post-mortem from the devs on what went wrong here and how management of this coin - in approach and personnel - will change going forward to ensure
1) the wallet is solid,
2) there's professional planning/expectations-management/coding/testing going forward
3) that something like this never happens again.

This cant just end with this weekend's haphazard wallet fix if you really want the market price to recover and get back to where it was headed before all this.

All wallets have miners. Otherwise you can't solo mine. Many virus programmes identify mining software as a virus.  This is standard

It means that you likely have a false-positive detected by some cheap scanner.

Those of us that have been around - know about false positives.

I scanned it 3 ways with some enterprise grade detection software with heuristics. I didn't find anything.

What is that meant to mean?   Because i ran a eset deep scam and it found the bitcoinminer virus from the syscoin files.
