Here in Detroit, we call it crack-headery.

Just noticed the sells on mintpal. So, there go the dumps you expected. I definitely still cannot justify them, but I guess they have their reasons. A better opportunity perhaps. No clue.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Open task manager and kill the process. Then backup your wallet.dat and syscoin.conf and peers.dat
Nuke everything else in that location. Start the wallet again and let it sync.

My wallet won't reopen, either (I'm running it on Mac OSX): I downloaded the new version this morning and it was all synced fine, but won't restart after being closed.

Any advice anyone?

i have same issue but on windows.

anybody has windows working?

I am having issues with windows as well:
http://www.reddit.com/r/SysCoin/comments/2dz8as/no_block_source_available/

"Hello Everyone, I cannot seem to get my wallet to sync. I have tried the peer download from bitcoin talk announcement, upgrading, deleting everything upgrading and replacing my wallet and I am officially at a loss.I have also tried to enable Map port using UPnP to see if that helps.
Any recommendations?"

Tried again - this time removed from my programs in the windows menu - still no syncing. Also I do not have a syscoin.conf file - where can I get one?

Sometimes you have to wait a moment for the spoon to get to your mouth. A few posts up, you would have found...

That dropbox file is missing a couple of helpful things. Check the link I posted a minute ago.

I think point most here are missing, i the tons of added code, this is not copy paste coin by far. Probably most innovative out there yet. Business on the blockchain, think about that for a min and see where this is going?

Yeah, didn't think most gave that enough thought, but that's fine, I'll be buying and mining this with both hands. Digital gold here.

is it me, or  mining this coin is not profitable right now?
I have 4 MHS rig, and doing roughly 80 Sys a day.
That is just 80x0.000005 =0.0004 BTC a day, with bitcoin  price  about 500 $ it is  just 20 cent...
on clevermining.com, for example, i would get  3 times more.
Am I missing something, or maybe syscoin.me pool is swallowing my  SYSCOINS?

The poor kid had a couple of nickles and wanted to spend them both on YOUR coin. You should feel honored.

Good job getting rid of that eyeball trash, though.

FIRST OF ALL danosphere,sebastien1234,snipsnoop,jonn4y,mwheeleruk,Coderboo  ALL OF THESE IDS ARE BELONG TO ONLY TWO PERSONS.THE MOST OF THE  PICTURES OF THESE PEOPLE BELONG TO OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO CONNECTIONS TO SYSCOIN AT ALL.AS BOTH THE PERSONS HAVE FAMILY THEY DON'T GET MUCH TIME TO DEAL WITH WALLET'S PROBLEMS.SO IT TOOK A LOT OF TIME TO MAKE THE WALLET SYNCHRONIZE.THEY DON'T HAVE ANY INTENTION TO MAKE MARKETING STRATEGY FOR SYSCOIN AT ALL,WHY ? THEY DON'T HAVE ANY Marketing Manager AT ALL .SNIPSNOP ADMITTED THAT THEY DIDN'T RECEIVED ANY BTC FROM MOOLAH YET.BUT AGAIN HOW COULD THEY RETURN 25O BTC TO MOOLAH FOR STABILIZING THE PRICE.THESE TWO PERSON DONT HAVE TIME TO EVEN MAKE A FORUM.THEY EARNED 1500 BTC AND SAYING THAT jonn4y IS A Web / App Developer BUT DONT HAVE THE TIME TO CREATE A FORUM .AFTER FAILING TO CREATE A BETTER WAALET NOW THEY ARE ADMITTING THAT DDOS ATTACK IS THE REASON FOR THE PROBLEMS.ALL THE THINGS THEY ARE SAYING ARE LIES.IT IS SAD THAT A REPUTED COMPANY IS SUPPORTING THESE PEOPLE.

SIX VERY HARD WORKING HONEST PEOPLE = danosphere,sebastien1234,snipsnoop,jonn4y,mwheeleruk,Coderboo  BUT YOU ONLY SEE 0 RESULTS.JUST READ THEIR POSTS AND USE YOUR BRAIN YOU WILL GET THE TRUTH.

Watch your mouth you sarcastic little prick. The info was over 10 pages back. And it changes all the time. I would have hoped by NOW the wallets would work, we don't always have time to read through pages of thread. If you can't be BLOODY civil don't say anything and keep your mouth shut.

Wow what a helpful community or are you one of the Dev's

I got a few hundred megahash on it. Currently, it doesn't compare to some other things out there, but...

The idea is not to mine and dump the price down.

Mine it , hold most and gradually sell off as the demand goes up and the price rises. Or use it in its natural form.

is it me, or  mining this coin is not profitable right now?

ok. Now I am getting incredibly frustrated :/

I downloaded the syscoin.conf - went to the link above added the extra lines in the config file, received an error for user / password requirements, added this. deleted all sys files except for peer, config and wallet, reinstalled sys and still no f*ck*!@ block source available.

Any other suggestions & thank you everyone for trying to help.
Hopefully the team members are reading this and actively putting together a complete wallet package that runs with out 5 hours of troubleshooting.

On a better note: Market place features look very sexy. Added my services to it - will add hosting and a few others if I can ever get this wallet to load.
