im just here trying to clear fud people can read themselves and decide. look at the thread today how many were convinced in buying. some of the current buyers are only impatient, nothing else other than that they have nothing bad to say. i have no problems with already being invested other than i could have waited a little longer, but no stress will do what i can to buy more.

I strongly urge my fellow Syscoin pre-sale participants and/or those that are still considering entry to answer the following question in regard to some of the concerns put forward (price, miners, etc.)... What if we get an ASIC Showdown with this baby??? When I've got some BTC free I'm going to buy a few of the small (5 MH/s) ASICs to give mining SYS a try. I got into all this through mining and at the moment my GPUs get too hot for SCRYPT mining (plus there wasn't really anything I wanted to mine Scrypt wise). If this is a slow steady rise in value then it would benefit us miners taking the plunge and investing in some hardware before the big guys and hash farms make it too expensive for us.

Also I don't know if this is mentioned anywhere else but PRYPTO make scratch cards which are essentially paper wallets for cryptos. Might be an idea to get an arrangement for people to buy coins directly with fiat this way. I spoke to Prypto earlier and they say they are open to any coin and recommend contacting their resellers directly to arrange this. Would be great for promotion too if you hand out small amounts of SYS on cards for free just to get people interested. The link to their site (resellers) is: http://prypto.com/resellers/?pg=DirectoryI also think another way of getting out the message would be to do an interview with David Seaman (@d_seaman on twitter). He has a podcast that covers crypto amongst other topics and is genuinely enthusiastic about the subject. It would also be a good chance to allay any fears and concerns people may have before jumping in to the presale. Julian Yap (@jyap) is also a trusted and respected person in the crypto community. Having him on board to check the blockchain and certify wallets would be another tick in the trust box.

You need to look into Heavycoin's HEFTY1 then! Actually I've been mining a lot of MNR which uses HEFTY (Heavy uses HEAVY not HEFTY similar but different enough to need different mining kernels).

So will there be any changes after a lot of displeasure shown by people?
As I mentioned we'll be reviewing the reward schedule and there will almost certainly be a change there. I think many of the other miscalculations and misinformation that was posted by others in earlier pages has been clarified at this point. will you review the fact it is merge mineable? If people can mine it for free on the back of another coin they will just dump then instantly and multipools will do the same

Amazed at this ICO. I really like syscoin and would invest if the ICO would be fair to investors, but asking 1500 btc for a 15% share is just ridiculous. Crypti asked 750 BTC for 85%.
How are investors going to make a profit on this one? Let's just be honest everybody and quit the long term bla bla crap. Most investors want a short term profit, and that's fine. We help you fund your work, make our profit and let others after launch help you with long term goals.
+1

joined the ICO i know this devs since some time and believe they will do what they claim for. scrypt imo is a decent choose and if that was changed after ICO most of people (like me) would feel bad. so stop asking devs to change algo - they cannot do that after ICO was started. just get some scrypt miners ready

Any plans to implement any privacy options or features? I know there is a segment that would really like those types of features, for what ever reasons..

There is a huge amount of scrypt miners out there and they are not likely to go away any time soon.

If you are thinking anon we have yet to see any really good implementations out there. Not dismissing it at all, but it is not our main focus at the moment. We will release more ideas and future plans soon enough. Some might even find it's way into this initial release as dano has hinted at.

I think should revise the investment rules, should according to the investment proportion of shares rather than a fixed price.

I have a question. Tried to buy some coins from ICO, and my BTC transaction got stuck for almost 24 hours! It says, investment address is valid for only half an hour. Will it be ok when it eventually get through, or I can say good bye to my 0.2 btc? Should I contact Moolah suppoort?

You'll be fine but totally a valid question! The 30min limit is more for when the buying gets fierce towards the end of a phase- you have 30min to "lock in" your Syscoin. Right now there is still a good supply in the presale so you'll be fine. Once the transaction is complete you'll receive an email within 6hrs. For transactions that are taking longer to confirm (coming from exchanges and such) and for those that needed to "top up" because people may have forgot fees or miscalculated- Moolah has put in place a system to audit the wallets every 6hrs and send emails accordingly to those that were delayed or short on their initial purchase. You should be good! If you don't get an email within 6hrs of seeing the transaction on the blockchain please contact me or Moolah support and we'll resolve the issue for you. We'll have a public ledger available in the next 2 days as well as a portal for claiming your physical rewards
