What happened seems really great. Basically, we are guaranteed development of the coin for at least 6 months - if not by devs (although there is no reason for them to diappear, since they will be given 1500 BTC in the next 6 months for development and for their own profits), then by devs hired by Moolah. This might be the most powerful coin on the market now and best tactic would be to just hide your coins and reopen your wallet after few months - like with Bitcoin in the good old times.

It's ironic, but yes, the launch disaster has strangely turned Syscoin into one of the best altcoins out there - the only one backed by a solid, registered UK-based, international tech company with street cred. Bizarre, isn't it?

I love the optimism I'm seeing in the last few posts, but the trollbox is elsewhere.

On another subject I posted about earlier... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=587080.msg8463260#msg8463260

Anybody know of a fix for the GUI problem in Windows EXE for Win7 Home Premium x64 - that doesn't involve constantly altering my shortcut, nuking the Syscoin folder, and running as administrator?

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

2k is possible, 10k seems impossible, unless Mintpal add SYS based market, Moolah makes SYScoin ATM, POS etc.

SYSCOIN target is Bitshares X, top 5 market cap.

You gotta love the optimism (or is it attempt to pump the price?) people on this thread. First they refused to listen to  how this was the worst release ever. Then once moolah took over, they went "oh yeah the release was bad but now moolah has taken over so all is good". If moolah ditches them, next it will be "yeah you moron "investors" deserved it for the optimism"/ Its nice that I have a looong list of people to add to my ignore list now -- any coin I see these idiots on goes to my junk box Smiley

If I decide to bet 0.1 BTC that this coin won't get back to 700 satoshi this year will Moolah escrow me? I am serious about this.

Betting 5 Bitcoin on top of your 0.1 BTC.

Betting 100BTC that there's one person behind most of these troll accounts.

You would lose 100BTC, a lot of shaky investors that had a lot of hope in this coin, and backed by Lord-Moolah himself put a lot of faith into the investment. I thought it was a rushed/overpriced NEM so I avoided the IPO. Dodged a bullet but really feel sorry for all those that had so much faith. Good luck everyone.

You guys can easily do this over at https://www.betmoose.com/bets - send it to the dev and have him act as the 'Yes' bet to incentivize him Wink

^^ Great idea, we have wasted a lot of time on FUD Tongue but we should have funding here in the next day once the discussion with Moolah is complete.

danosphere, snipsnoop
Why does the wallet need an administrator password for run? I hope you will fix it in the next version.
Previous version of the wallet and other my wallets run successfully without requesting administrator rights.

From exe:
Code:
  <assemblyIdentity version="2.0.2.0" processorArchitecture="X86" type="win32" name="Syscoin QT"></assemblyIdentity>
  <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2">
    <security>
      <requestedPrivileges>
        <requestedExecutionLevel level="requireAdministrator" uiAccess="false"></requestedExecutionLevel>
      </requestedPrivileges>
    </security>
  </trustInfo>
</assembly>

Thank you- this is a good question. The win QT build was moved to QT5 in these latest builds and maybe in that transition the contributor missed something or this was added by accident. We will address this, test and reissue a binary ASAP.

+1 for DEV Syscoin Moolahcoin now have future,:-):-):-)

Typo.  Tongue

Syscoin is entirely independent from Moolah. They are our valued partner and we are working with them closely but we are autonomous. Wanted to clarify this point as some people were saying Moolah had taken over Syscoin- this is not the case. We are discussing long term partnerships with them involving and related to the presale BTC and will issue a statement once complete. Syscoin is going to be successful and we're both committed to seeing that through.

Notice: In the interest of current and future investors, we will be locking this thread in the next day or two and moving to a new thread with more clear information about Syscoin, its roadmap, team, how to get help, etc. This thread has just gotten too long. This will remain open for now until we have the new thread ready. We will backlink this thread from the new one for transparency. Thanks.

Now that stuff is up and running right we want to have a clean thread.

Just in case people missed this one.

We are still working on the existing issues, just needed to get over the first bumpy ones.

We cant wait to show you the real potential of Syscoin

says a guy who went through the posts to find dirt. Well done! need a chocolate for your efforts?
still less considering how incompetent devs have been, less talk and more work will surely might help with a working wallet.

Yeah well if in bitcointalk world (or even in your mind), if number of posts = make sense, then devs of this coin would have been superman...ROFLMAO
