Hey, I had about 10.000 AC on Mintpal and now they are gone. What happened to them?!

You need to contact Mintpal.

I just did. I hope they recover the AC. But I hope I haven't bought the premined AC which have been removed. :/

No need to worry. We did not invalidated those coins so even if you bought from the premined coins, it should be there and valid. Only the premined coins in the original developer's wallet, that were still there, were invalidated.

I believe that

We are rising from hell, beware Wink

I think I need to change my sleeping and active hours.
I missed all the pumps on 4 different coins in just two days.

This is getting frustrating.

Thanks for pointing this out. Do they understand that AC is PoS now? since their other coins are PoW.

In the past top 4 or 5 were added (basically all coins that showed interest, interest being getting more than 20 votes).

a small question how to improve Asiacoin

the nodes

just today downloaded Bitcoin blockchain - it downloads in 1.5 hours ( 20+ GB )
whereas Dogecoin blockchain ( just over 4 GB ) most likely downloads 15 hours

maybe this Bitcoin speed and Dogecoin slowness is a number of nodes ?

how it is with Asiacoin : everybody who has opened wallet on a network becomes a node

or needs special soft ?

have seen somewhere for Bitcoin must install special soft and system

maybe we should try to have more nodes so blockchain downloads in few minutes on a fast connection ?

For all coins, any open wallet is a node as the blockchain is transferred using P2P protocols. Some coins have super nodes which are basically wallets with very fast connections (Gbps) and high availability. We also do have some super nodes on high speed servers with high availability across the world.

Our network is actually pretty strong and our blockchain download speed is better than most coins out there, as people keep their wallets open for PoS staking. You can easily connect to 100s of nodes at any time. In case you need to, you can get (some) active node IPs from our block explorer.

Yeah it makes no sense to me at all. Altcoins can have a great future if people are patient and smart.

Stock investors seems to be the more patient older generation, while Cryptos are the impatient younger generation.

In the cryptoworld, weeks are like years in the stock market lol.

Vote for AsiaCoin to get listed on CoinPayments. They are a service for customers that buy products with cryptocurrencies and merchants that accept coins to sell products.

It only costs .0011 BTC to vote. They even accept LTC and DOGE.

Show your support for AsiaCoin and help it get accepted by merchants who sell good products.

The AsiaCoin community has spoken.  I totally respect that. Perhaps an aggressive PR campaign to repair a tarnished image is as important as everything else you are currently doing. That would be good for AsiaCoin and the industry. In any case, you all have done an admirable job to give the investors a second chance. Wish you all the very best.

First of all thank you Dyna,
we appreciate your cute words and I've personally read all of your posting.
I remember very well D-Notes (i am an old guy -year 1972-) and I am sure any kind of support is really appreciated by our dev team, by our community , the big part of it.
You already know people react in all sort of manners, and sometimes words or concepts could be miswritten and misunderstood, so i am here asking you to forgive us if we did not firmly react and moderate some replies in this thread, we didn't censored anything to let the people express freely, we respect each opinion.
Personally I say thank you for all your kindness.
p.s.
sorry for my "maccheroni" english.
