It's very important that we don't keep all our coins on exchanges. Have them in your wallet and staking.
2k+ nodes : ) better even that father coin PPC. Where do I see this info? e.g. here: http://bitinfocharts.com/blackcoin/Is a node a wallet open for staking? Yes thats correct

Good article Never mined before. Can someone give me cost/benefit analysis of using this on the Blackcoin multipool? I know that depends on the price but give me scenarios where I profit/breakeven. Thanks.

There will be another small delay (very tiny, sorry but it is worth it) in the exchange deployment, my friend drunkonsound of BlackWave Labs has begun talking with the very talented Reiner Wulfcastle (The only person who has yet been allowed to see the exchange), who designed and built blackcoin.co and blkfeed.
He has already designed us a wonderful looking logo for our new exchange. He believes he can build further improve the layout and make it fit the theme of the community better. Our design is not bad at all, but Reiner is very talented and we want to offer him this opportunity which if successful would allow us to launch with a concrete brand.
We are giving him some time to build a mockup and if we prefer it over our current design we will help him implement it fast as possible.
Drunkonsound is currently finishing a Ruby wrapper gem for the exchange APi to make it easy to interact with the exchange. It abstracts your account and the exchanges into easy to use objects It already supports making web-sockets connections and includes a information on how to connect to exchange channels to receive live data.
The Ruby wrapper allows it to be used as a convenient library for trading bots that we will also release and maintained in the future, currently being based on my current GoLang bot. We will provide live support for anyone interested in using these tools and we will do whatever we can to make the process of multi-pool integration cheaper and easier.
We will to release at least two bots based on this codebase on github at the time of our launch. We will also be porting the wrapper to Python and NodeJS. Suggestions for ports of the wrapper and welcome.
We are looking at adding Peercoin and Vertcoin trading pairs to Blackcoin before launch as well to increase the number of options for Blackcoin exchanges. Any suggestions for coins are appreciated, but we want to provide coins that the multi-pools can mine and sell directly against bBackcoin.
Next announcement I will be giving out the name and URL and begin open beta sign ups and free trading. We apologize for the small delay but we are set on launching a well designed, full featured, real-time, scalable exchange from the start.

I am not completely sure but I think this is the number of nodes that respond to the DNS seed. The number is probably so low because of the recent hard fork. It always has to be considered as rough approximation.

Thank you for the update. I will definitely sign up for the beta and hope you will grant access to me. Looking forward to testing out some automatic trading scripts.

Add every coin in the Top 10. Also will you be able to show current USD and BTC price next to each pair? That would help a lot when trading.

Good to see that Blackcoin is now a coin I can use on the pool with my Genesis Mining hashpower directly. Perhaps I should post the amount of coins I receive with my Genesis Mining payment, might help to compare or give an idea. I have around 14 MH/s with Genesis Mining. Ian

Yes it is up to date. All nodes are stacking nodes (my ip is there ) but password protected / active - are nodes without password they are able to send coins. Vericoin have abut 1000 online wallets after accident nothing changed they don't care about POS security, on forum best answers "we should move all coins to bittrex" or "i will keep coin on Minpal thunder bolt don't hit 2x in same place" <- that one rocks ( he forgot about MtGox case ) Most "new POS" coins today are on exchanges (eg bittrex,Mintpal) not stacking because they want be able dump in right time on hype. You can attack almost any shit POS clone with 1%-10% of all coins and make double spend.

Yes, yourstruly, please add the marketcap per coin on that specific page. For example, Mintpal shows me that DRK & URO are same price, but I bet their market cap is total difference! That might be good information for newbie investors/ traders

What's "all nodes" mean? - I think all nodes is nodes that are staking but behind firewall/NAT. Active nodes is the nodes that are listening and has the port open looks like that
