Ok so, Sort of a noob here, if I dont reserve my coins in the wallet? they can be used by others? or is it just some sort of interest on transactions? Im a little worried about my coins now. Dont want them to disapear lol You guys need to stop trying to get the cheap coins it just gets u ignored seriusly. Btw POS means u get a fixed amt of coins each day/week/month/year if u leave ur wallet open kinda like a bank.

They will be unavailable for a short period of time when they stake until the stake is confirmed. It only "stakes" a portion at a time which is usually one transactions worth. If you bought 100 coins and they all came in one transaction it would "stake" those and those 100 would be unavailable until the stake was confirmed but the other 8400 in your wallet would still be available unless some of them also staked. If you leave your wallet open and staking with 8500 coins in one year you should have approximately 9,875 coins at 15% compounded daily. Over simplified but hope it helps. [Edit] typos

Ok sorry, last question.
I'm sure this is a dumb question so sorry in advance. By leaving my wallet open do you mean, Not putting anything in the reserved section? or do you mean not encrypting the wallet?

It is my understanding that the dev has to implement the zerocoin functionality in the code. Can't expect the zerocoin people to do that. It is gpl licensed I believe so their work can be used but will need to be implemented, tested and then tested some more before being released. I am in no way speaking for the dev but just pointing out my understanding of what is going on. From the dev earlier in this thread: <clip>....Yes Zerocoin development is separate from Dreamcoin, always will be, I will be the one to integrate Zerocoin into Dreamcoin entirely....<endclip>

Not dumb. Reserved coins will not stake. The wallet will also not stake any coins if it is locked. Therefore you need the wallet open, don't reserve any coins unless you have reason, and if password protected unlock the wallet.

Correct. The train has already left. If u think about it, this coin is sitting at a $200k marketcap currently. And any coin with zerocoin implementation would sit far beyond that close to $10mill maybe. And this is a relatively new blockchain meaning its better than bitcoin blockchain in terms of implementing

Great currency with zero premine. Drm Dev (Carsen) is a great Dev and very active. You can be assured he will fix any issue if there is one. Ignore the FUD from other shitcoin developers who are just jealous on our success.

It's really funny seeing people arguing on this coins Dev stage pros and cons. Anyone should see that this pow/pos coin is a really rare one. So even if the Dev needs one or two weeks for implementing zerocoin or zerocoinlike extension, any of the haters should think about what will happen to the price after stopping pow. Anything between 100Ksatoshi and 1Msatoshi is realistic even before fully implementation of zerocoin

To the trolls or dreamers with questions - I have already answered these questions about Ian's twitter and Zerocoin several times. I am (as in me) is implementing libzerocoin into Dreamcoin, It still has a lot of work to be done and Ian has a lot of work still to do for Zerocoin itself, he is obviously not working with us on Zerocoin, I had mentioned it would be cool if he would and that I would contact him, but of course, no reply and he has posted that on his twitter. Hope this clears things up, Zerocoin will be implemented, but as with anything great, it will take time as it isn't ready for primetime yet with the bugs and current issues it has. I have already begun working on the libzerocoin code, then it will be onto implementation if the code works out good and tests fine.
