Well, just bought me 3100 Dreamcoin on Poloniex!  I really hope that there's not a giant dump once POW ends! Cheesy

don't worry...we didn't even reach fair price yet ...imagine if we implement multipool for this coin...  Grin  ...this coin will be something to remember in crypto history..... Wink

Multipool is coming soon..

Any idea how long it'll take for the multipool to be up and running?

the multipool is not the star of dream coin. it is zeromine. that will take us to beyond. multipool will stablize the coin.

Just checked out coinmarketcap.  DRM is dirt cheap compared to most coins on the list.

You mean zerocoin.  Remember, zeromine = mining at a pool that closes down before you can withdraw your coins.

I Agree.  Zerocoin is what will take this coin to the next level.  If it becomes the first PoW/PoS coin with Zerocoin integrated, we are going to see some SERIOUS investment.  The exchanges would be stupid not to add us.  It is going to be an arms race now between all the coins/devs to see who can get Zerocoin running first.  I am a software engineer and from what I've seen on github, no one is close right now.  The door is WIDE OPEN.

It is my understanding that the dev has to implement the zerocoin functionality in the code. Can't expect the zerocoin people to do that. It is gpl licensed I believe so their work can be used but will need to be implemented, tested and then tested some more before being released. I am in no way speaking for the dev but just pointing out my understanding of what is going on.

From the dev earlier in this thread:
<clip>....Yes Zerocoin development is separate from Dreamcoin, always will be, I will be the one to integrate Zerocoin into Dreamcoin entirely....<endclip>

That is correct to my understanding as well. The dev was even in chat on Poloniex the other day and answered all my questions. Even before any anonymous tech is worked out and (hopefully) implemented, this coin is *very* nice. The price is almost 40x lower than BC when you consider unit count. If the dev sticks with it long term this could be huge. (or if people figure out the basics with how undervalued the coin is right now) I admit the name seemed silly to me at first, but now I think it fits. This could be a "Dreamcoin", why not? Has to be some amazing coins that come out now and then.

Buy a few dirt cheap and join in, not much risk at this price. Even as a POS coin it is very underpriced. In the past I have suggested DRK .11 cent, when it started, BC 1200 sats, CINNI at 2900 sats. This one looks it could be a big winner. Accessible developer too!

So the zerocoin is not working in dreamcoin? does it cause damages?

Sounds like dev trying to fix the issue, I'd guess it's a long road, why not simply remove it if it has problems that could cause double spent?

I see many zerocoin code in the dreamcoin code base, are they used? certainly you can't compile without them.

Read back a few pages. It is there, not implemented yet.

Zerocoin is not currently functional, so it doesn't allow double spending, nor will it when it is implemented. The code is intended to be in there for when it is implemented, there's no need to remove it right now.

hmmm, very misleading in OP:

Dreamcoin is an X11 (blake, bmw, groestl, jh, keccak, skein, luffa, cubehash, shavite, simd, echo) coin built with Zerocoin ...

if it is not built, then better not boast it

Did you scroll down? This is also in OP.

To everyone talking about Zerocoin.

Libzerocoin code is implemented into Dreamcoin, The code is not fully ran in the system yet as there are only the beginning of some params coded into Dreamcoin itself.

Libzerocoin and Zerocoin itself have a lot of work to be done still by its developers (Ian) and others (I personally have found many bug fixes and updates for the libzerocoin code, which I will be releasing by next week at latest) The actual integration into Dreamcoin will take some more time and a lot of testing before just put up live. I completely 100% support anonymity in new cryptos and I will be adding Zerocoin to Dreamcoin (Yes it is basically an extension of the network).

Unlike LibertyCoin, I know what I am doing, I will update the github in the coming weeks so more of you devs can review the code and see how the progress is coming along, updates to the current libzerocoin code will not affect Dreamcoin in a whole until it is completely integrated into the coin. I may be taking on some other devs to help with this as well to speed up the progress, once I get paid from my real world job.

Love you all! Peace and Dreams! Smiley I will be on all day today just like any other day, so if you have questions just shoot me a PM Smiley

Zerocoin Donations that will go to the Zerocoin Devs:

It is very clear if you read OP and all throughout this thread that the dev has from the beginning made it clear that Zerocoin is still being worked on. He has put his full name and reputation behind this coin and all of his past coins. People really need to stop beating a dead horse on this topic.

It's not beat the dead horse, I came to the thread and get confused, because of the way it advertises. I am sure other people will too. Please, be up front and be honest, and we have no issues.

I am a coin dev too, I don't want to bash any coins, just want to understand what each coin offers.

Of course I think that's totally fine but you have to understand someone has come in this thread like 20 separate times and said the exact same thing. If a dev is being a total scammer then yes it's justified to drone on about things, but at this point we all have the info we need to make a decision whether to invest or not. I also think it should be standard procedure to read a whole OP if you have concerns before posting a question (which would have answered yours). Also the search function can help.

Yep libzerocoin in Dreamcoin is being worked on...Implementation will take more work as well. I will hopefully have an update by end of this week or next week..I am struggling with my full time job right now (Dreamcoin has my full attention, but it has to be put on the side burner for my real job, dreams compared to my reality, sadly...Dont have enough Dreams to pay any bills yet, more donations would help, so I could take less hours at work and spend more time developing)

If you guys want to donate towards Zerocoin development, it is in the OP. Funds can help be used to bring in another developer to help me work on this project to get it done quicker and so that we can beat the competition.

Dreamcoin in the meantime will end PoW soon! Now is a good time to buy in all you dreamers that came late!

I would help but I'm currently involved in a few projects. If I reduce my workload in the near future I will pm DRM dev though.
