I'm withdrawing. Best of luck, Updown.BT and to all particpants.
Maybe it's a smart move for cheap advertisement. How many people have posted for 2 or 3 weeks and than left? They can't expect him to pay out, they haven't upheld their end of the contract, so why should he uphold his end? He only has to pay out the few members who actually kept on posting with his signature, which at this time look to be very few. @ the post above me I know running a business requires a channel of communication, however him failing to communicate does not make him a scammer by default. It's sketchy, sure, but he hasn't scammed yet. (Ok he seems to have some issues with some members who Apperantly did not get paid properly during the weekly campaign, but many others did get paid, so for now I give him the benefit of doubt). Right but everyone is entitled to there own opinions at this point, he is right now a scammer in my eyes so far there are others who havent been paid correctly and a scam accusation on him. He might not intentionally trying to be one but hes acting like one. If he paid everyone fairly and there were no other complaints I would have looked the other way and say Ok this guy dont wanna come here once a week and give updates to the forum advertisers, cause thats what we are. Also to customers who had issues with the website and there payments.

If he is truly a bitcoin foundation member, no one would like to be accused of scam of over 1 BTC in a simple ad campaign.

I think so too.At least he should come back and clear the current due payments.Than he can give a notice and close the campaign. But keeping users hanging like now isn't good at all for a bitcoin foundation member.

What ask when you can click on his name and find out for yourself? Because the noob wants to get more money from his signature campaign, spamming useless posts is his special ability.

Can someone make a summary of what happened?
It started with escrow and/or weekly payments so it paid for a while then didn't pay? It started May 08, did it pay for the whole first month?
If it did and 2/3 of the posts were made during the first month, the free advertising updown got the second month was not cheap since he overpaid the first month

during weekly payout he also was almost never online, so that does not mean anything, except that he's a pretty poor businessman. but hey, if he's earning money, who cares? And if he's losing money too bad for him, he still gotta pay up. But we'll know for sure in 5 days.

If no word or payouts by mid-day then he won't be able to conduct any business with any of us in the future. His site will be sure to shutdown if this happens. Tick tock tick tock on the clock, UpDown.

His site won't shut down, but it's reputation will be tarnished and he won't get much business from here. They must be having some trouble in some capacity though to do this. during weekly payout he also was almost never online, so that does not mean anything, except that he's a pretty poor businessman. but hey, if he's earning money, who cares? I'd be very surprised if he decides to pop back just to pay you guys as much as you're hoping this to be the case.

There was never an escrow for this signature campaign... he paid ontime for the weekly payments, every single time. But there were a couple of unsettled disputes regarding the payment amounts, he apparently missed some member's posts, or missed them entirely.

Yah, I saw quite a few people saying they hadn't been paid or hadn't been paid in full. I also saw some people attempt to enroll but no reply from the OP.

They can't lock it, they have to wait at least until 5 July to see if UpDown is going to pay them. No matter how unlikely it may seem, they need to leave the thread open until the full month has expired.
