if the rumor about the updown connection about goax then dont hope to get paid he still owes me 0.08btc and even i ask some of the member here to point out the scam accusation regarding to his website he still ignored it he didnt even bothered about his site reputation maybe just because he have a lot of money to make a new site and registered it again to the bitcoin foundation to make him a gold member again
sure he paid some people but he is getting too unfair

We made all payouts with a bit delay, but everybody finally got paid and payouts was not bad. |

This updown story is weirder and weirder. First he pays weekly to get his sig campaign going. And he's a foundation gold member. So you think ok he's on the up and up. Then he never comes online and screws over sig campaign members only to come very late and pay almost everyone when I would ASSUME his rep is tarnished so his site is failing. Them we find out he stole BTC from gox and hacked them. I mean what the heck is he doing? There are just no reasonable explanations, maybe except for the theory that he used his gambling site to launder the gox stolen coins and he paid us either because they are gox coins and he wants to get rid of them or he wants to recover some goodwill before the gox news breaks.
If the "hacked Gox" angle is true, then you are correct, this is one of the weirdest BTC stories ever. As far as I can see the whole "hack" story hangs on a lot of assumptions made from one IP address that appears to be or have been linked to UpDown.bt and to a site that hosted some leaked Mt.Gox document. And since the twitter generation reads only the headlines, the "hack" has now become synonymous to Gox's lost BTCs, and UpDown.BT is alegedly laundering the stash, which makes all of us accessories to a crime
