The Bitcoin Foundation's almost as dysfunctional as the campaign. Being a member of the Foundation is actually frowned upon now.

There must be a few members here who are members of the bitcoin foundation. Can one of you make a suggestion to the foundation to suspend updown's membership until he contacts the foundation and explain what's going on?
He would probably just tell them that he had health problems just like he told us so what would they do with it?

The only online casino on which i won something. I made 17mBTC from 1mBTC in like 15 minutes.  This is not paid AD!

Bitcoin Foundation itself lost its credibility , few of the top names there , were indulged in some biggest scams in bitcoin world knowingly or unknowingly .
and If you'll go through the list of Bitcoin Foundation Members you'll realize that updown is one of the just few gold members.

If he has health problems, than he is not fit to run a gambling website. He will not be around if the website has betting/payout or hacking/security problems. The foundation should not be associated with ill maintained gambling sites. So either suspend the updown website or suspend his foundation membership.

I doubt he is managing it alone. And if you will get ill will you be happy if someone would decide to end your bussnies cuz you are ill but you have workers paid?

This is exactly what I want to prove. He is not working alone. He should have instructed a colleague to pay his "workers" on this thread. If he is working alone, he is incapable of taking care of his business, both the site and here.

We need not "end his business", we need to suspend his membership at the foundation. No more halo effect on his badly run business, so he will take this seriously and get someone to pay his debts.

Sorry to say but foundation seems like greedy i'd say mofos but let's keep it as persons that care only about money lately

This updown story is weirder and weirder. First he pays weekly to get his sig campaign going. And he's a foundation gold member. So you think ok he's on the up and up. Then he never comes online and screws over sig campaign members only to come very late and pay almost everyone when I would ASSUME his rep is tarnished so his site is failing. Them we find out he stole BTC from gox and hacked them. I mean what the heck is he doing?  There are just no reasonable explanations, maybe except for the theory that he used his gambling site to launder the gox stolen coins and he paid us either because they are gox coins and he wants to get rid of them or he wants to recover some goodwill before the gox news breaks.

If anyone, anyone, joined this campaign just because they saw his Gold Membership, some people really need to reconsider their life choices. Plus, he most likely would launder than pay out 'dirty coins' to you guys. It would've possibly been traced after the first week if he'd done so, and, laundering it through bets would be easier.

Well, I joined this campaign because I wanted to take the gamble and because I didn't use my signature for anything useful anyway. I got paid every single time, even though the total amount didn't always match with what I should have gotten. And to be honest, I don't care about that, since I see it as a tip for contributing useful posts to the community and not as work (as some people do). Yes, it was a huge gamble, but it paid out for me, since I got 1.2111439BTC from this campaign. That isn't bad at all for two months of posting like I normally would.

It's sad to see this campaign end like it does and I do wish UpDown.BT all the best.

I do wish UpDown.BT all the best too, we all do. it's sad to see a campaign end like this way, no one wants to see that happen.
Hope he can show up and explain what happened and whats going on, and of, course  he should pay the fund he owes people.

If the "hacked Gox" angle is true, then you are correct, this is one of the weirdest BTC stories ever.

I have not been spending time on Reddit, but the updown thread sounds like something good to read.

You sir have no idea what you're talking about. Obviously you should have joined him because of that, why would you join someone like Ritz or Stunna (back in the days when the campaign had just begun)?
Obviously people related to TBF are criminals.

As far as I can see the whole "hack" story hangs on a lot of assumptions made from one IP address that appears to be or have been linked to UpDown.bt and to a site that hosted some leaked Mt.Gox document. And since the twitter generation reads only the headlines, the "hack" has now become synonymous to Gox's lost BTCs, and UpDown.BT is alegedly laundering the stash, which makes all of us accessories to a crime Grin

Couple of people that removed the signatures sooner than he started paying out.
