Today restarted URO wallet.
for hours and hours it reported 2 hours behind.
Now it is 17 hours behond. No Sync.

URO.CONF is not required to be posted because:
1: Settings are as per front page instructions.
2: No Settings changed this end
3: Wallet used to sync, now it does not
4: Seems other also reports no sync of wallet

Perhaps by changce theres an issue with the network wallet itself?

the pool also suggest diff will change on the next block so mayhaps that will fix it when it finally gets found

the problems with new scrypt coins is that they can be victim to malicious interference in this manner.

you cant necessarily blame the coin if someone is deliberately trying to fuck with the diff. once it drops, i wonder if the network hash will mysteriously pick up again.. rape the blocks .. then disappear again .

A wallet update will be issued to increase difficulty re-target responsiveness. The new wallet also has built-in seed nodes and a few checkpoints. The update has been finished and is undergoing QA which will take a few hours.

In the mean time - we are arranging hash-rate capacity to mine out the remaining blocks before the diff change. This capacity will be deployed after the new wallet is released and we have confirmed all known pools (p2poolcoin, altmine, enterprises, suprnova and trademybit), Bittrex, cryptexplorer and several other tracking sites have applied the update.

The difficulty change will occur around 10 blocks from now so the transition will not result in any account values being lost at the junction of the fork.

To all those people saying their wallet wont sync.  There is a simple explanation.  At the moment it is HOURS between blocks because the dev screwed up the diff retargets. 20 blocks an hour?? At the moment it is more like 20 blocks a week..  According to uro.suprnova.cc they solved their last block over 54 hours ago and only 9 blocks have been solved since then.

I am one of the Catcoin devs, and I also happened to have paid something like $5,000 for urea this spring. Please join #catcoin-dev on irc and let's discuss a concept that we've developed that may solve this problem by allowing multiple coins to 'time share' the same underlying hash rate.

And I agree with you completely that pools (unless they are p2pool) are a bad thing for anyone that actually wants to reliably trade Uro for Urea. And all of the pump-and-dump wankers who are going to scream about 'it needs a pool' are missing the point that the reason this coin is valuable is because it's backed by a volatile (figuratively and literally) commodity.

I'll be doing my own due-diligence in the next few weeks on whether the Uro foundation really has the required connections to the fertilizer industry they need. Hozer: we are investigating merged mining with DRK. We aim to have this ready in 5 months when the Uro block rewards will drop to 10% of current levels. We can work together on the merged mining code with DRK devs if you like. In either case the code will be made public as usual for all to benefit.
