i think in the true spirit of de-centralisation we need to nominate a committee.

i am gladly willing to sit on that committee, i think we need at least 5 other members, then we'll probably need some sort of vote, then maybe we can set up a sub-committee to organise some answers.

Who is the Dev? You seem upset about using a different coloured font??? How does a different coloured font make anyone better??? Not too sure what that does to upset you! You are being accusational too. Do you do this to stop people from buying the Uro? Are you trying to stop people from investing in this? Are you spamming this forum?

customers do millions of dollars daily with these companies and im sure they dont know the ceos and presidents of those companies.  They call, the sales people pick up and an order is placed.  who gives a bleep who these people are?  you act like if we give you names we dont know you going to put down 10,000$ to try and make 2 million$  if your playing the trade game, feel free to buy a small ammt of uro and if it wins great good for you. this should not be used as a life savings investment to project you into baller status with a gulfstream jet.  
why dont you tell us a little about yourself? if your new to this forum because you came here as the official place to find uro information... how did you find out about uro? do you use urea? any insight you have to help us? we are here on this forum as speculators mostly. I'll tell you that I mine coins semi-frequently with my one gpu and i trade them on the major exchanges and usualy make bone headed decisions a couple times a week.  Im not rich in crypto, and dont expect to be. I dont know much about urea but the dev and the foundation seems to make sense.  If nothing else then trying to make a commodity out of a blockchain will eclipse the current anon fad, which eclipsed country coins, which eclipsed meme coins etc etc etc

A lot of us did background research and engaged the dev directly in a chat a few weeks ago. He still visits the #URO channel on freenode IRC sometimes to answer questions. Yes there are unanswered small questions but there are also legit names/faces/companies on this. If it's a scam, it's incredibly elaborate.

At the moment, he seems busy with what needs doing. He's also never been overly concerned about the BTC price, it's bigger than that. Stop thinking of this as just a regular coin, it's a (perhaps small scale & experimental in the context of the global urea business) blockchain application with possible far reaching consequences.

I see that you are new account, but will give you the benefit of the doubt.  It's quite simple.  I was interested in this coin from quite early.  Like you, I had questions and was skeptical, and still have a healthy degree of skepticism.  My questions were actually productive in that they encouraged the dev to come out and reveal his real identity, something which I thought would be necessary for this coin to be successful.

Do I think that situation is perfect: no.  Could this coin fail because of failure of adoption in the Urea market: yes.  Could this coin fail because of some sort of scam: yes, but at what cost? The main players are not anonymous, so they could make some money of this and then dump, but the crypto community would ensure that their business reputations will be ruined, or will they opt to revolutionize commodity trading and take their current business reputations up to a world class level?  Both of these scenarios are what have to be balanced by any trader/investor in any alt-coin, although in this case, it is perhaps more high risk/reward than others.

My position is that I think URO is a strong idea and it is a well developed idea, and from the perspective of the ratification, well executed so far.  I see it as the future of commodity trading i.e. decentralized, and hopefully eventually allowing farmers to trade directly with each other. Do I think that GES are the best company to take this forward: probably not, but I was greatly encouraged by the technical competence the dev showed in this IRC chat:

The more I read about URO the more excited I become. Just invested 1 BTC yesterday in fact. Ok, let me tell you all my understanding of URO and please someone correct me if I am way off base in my thinking.

You will probably ask, "why on earth would a urea supplier accept URO when URO is only a few dollars per coin?"

Well look.....let's say you are the owner of a urea manufacturing company and you decide that starting July 9 you are actually going to accept 1 URO for a tonne of urea. Furthermore, you have a meeting with all the other heads of the major urea manufacturing companies and they all agree to get on board and honor the agreement that 1 URO = 1 ton of urea.

Now why on earth would they do that if each coin is only worth $2-$5? Well here's the thing....

These heads of the Urea manufacturing companies are not stupid.....they themselves would also own a ton of URO coins so they would be thinking:

"ok, on July 9 I sell a shipment of x tons of urea for 1 URO per ton and I take a huge loss because 1 URO is only worth x dollars and my shipment will cost me several thousand dollars. BUT as soon as I do this, the world will see that the agreement is valid and immediately 1 URO will equal the price of 1 ton of urea. So at this point, I have lost a few thousand from the shipment, but I have gained a few million dollars because the URO coins that I own would now be worth $300 each"

So if you are the head of a urea company, not only are you thinking that URO can help to stabilize the price of urea, and it can help to ensure that poor farmers worldwide don't have to pay 300% mark up for urea, but you are also thinking that you will make an absolute FORTUNE with the coins. So it's a win win win.

Am I thinking this through correctly?

One last thing, ask yourself this....

If you are CEO of a urea supply company and I pitched you with this idea, and you knew that you could buy 10,000 coins right now for $2 knowing that you yourself could single-handedly make each coin worth $300 in the next few weeks, would you say no?

Now you are beginning to understand why this may just be the real deal folks....

notice that shelf life of urea is not good so they cant hoard urea, also, they cant make half boat shippings in order to not sell as much production when they are not paying enough

Yes my account is new but that's because I was considering buying some XXXcoins but I had a few concerns which I posted in the XXX thread. That was a few days ago.

Then yesterday I discovered URO and this morning I was reading more about it and decided I would post my thoughts.

Please look at my posting history and tell me if I am a shill for URO. The reason I love URO is because it's by far the most exciting and highest potential reward coin out there. Plus the concept is so unique that I just had to be a part of it.

That being said, what part of my post are you refuting exactly?

Also, are you really saying that my writing sounds chinese?? (hint: I live in one of the 50 States and have never even been to China)
