I am curious: for you 100% gain is like 25000% gain for early investor, 2200% for people invest last days. You really think you can double your money soon, or are you in for the long term?

Doubling those would be enough to me..

If there is to be a major reduction in PoW blocks though, the premine issue needs to be addressed eventually. If we are looking at just over 6 million PoW coins, the once small premine has now ballooned into over a 2% premine.  You may have a lot of your plate right now, but best to fight off the FUD before it hits.

If the premine is destroyed to equal proportion to the coin reduction, criticism regarding "unfair dev" will be crushed. Unless of course part of the premine is already sold.

This made me laugh. Could be the NSA I suppose but I think that this statement would go better on the Conspiracy coin thread.

Well in DRK some say the nodes are being bought by the NSA, so, in that sense it's "the only crypto the government wants to buy from you"

If they see a legitimate threat they may want to move ahead of the game. Personally I believe they own secretely purchased ASICs that do ensure 51% POW supremacy in all crypto's right now including SHA256, Scrypt and X11.

The premine before was way too small at only 0.4%. That is just too small for development costs and proper pay to this dev for his work. He needs a larger compensation if he wants to take this coin to the next level.  I think we all can agree on that. It costs money to make a coin and hire out work.  Trust me, I know this, as the dev of cinnicoin.  So, my vote is overwhelmingly to let him keep what he already has no matter the total supply reduction.

And why not?  The dev deserves a hell of a lot more than this!  Look at where he has taken us since May 8th!  The premine is minuscule

To be honest, $92,000 for a months work is quite a lot, I wouldn't call that minuscule.

I was one of the first who was "crying" for a a new name.
But when I consider the alternative names, I realize that XC aka X11Coin is not sooo very bad.
Although not optimal, I find it interesting that a number is in the name.
As a kind of re recognition. So far I only know X11Coin as numbered coin name.

But if you want to change: i am for simple XCoin or XCrypt or XCrypto.

You will regret soon probably (nothing is 100% sure ofcourse). Sell, buy back later if you want (wouldnt advice that if you support for long term). Lession one: dont be TOO greedy For this price to stand long, need at least 2/3k btc constantly next 48 hours. For another 50% gain, just imagine.. But do what you want.

I hear you, but I am long on XC so that is why I am holding. Daytrading is becoming too risky (for me)
