how much is the energy/ hosting cost per GH and per MH at the moment?
I looked on their website but it doesn´t seem to be mentioned anywhere....
If you see a few posts up I mentioned that they have fees in their new contracts now. So they are probably the info you require. It was basically a daily fee taken from your mined coins each day of 0.08 USD per MH/s for scrypt and 0.01 per 5 GH/s for SHA256. Contracts before the change had no additional daily fees, but were limited mostly to 1 year, but the last few weeks they did start to include contracts of half yearly intervals from 1 year upto 3 years. Hope this helps Ian Is there any other discount code active besides these referral codes cause I am already a member? You are already a member. So there is no other discount option for you.

I can't remember GM saying anywhere that they are changing to lifetime, though I wouldn't hold a grudge if they did But... which other GM thread did you see that? Here apparently. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=768281.msg8747062#msg8747062Although GM didn't actually say that they were, just that another forum member that said they had. I think Genesis- mining need to concern this matter. It would be really helpful for old members like us. Haven't you notice it? Here is an announcement from Genesis-mining: All customers who purchased yearly contracts from us get a free upgrade to lifetime contracts after expiration! That's great. I am really happy to saw this announcement. Thanks to Genesis-mining.

This seems interesting, has anyone calculated expected ROI with these new prices?

i register yesterday and buy hashpower when i receive earn and site write Congratulations! Your hashpower has been upgraded and your machines are already mining! Please be patient for your payout since they are only done once a day. Because you started in the middle of our 24-hour payout period your first payout is expected to be less than the following. Happy Mining with Genesis Mining!

There seems to be confusion and uncertainty about the fees.
Currently a fixed fee will be deducted from the mined coins with the Lifetime Contracts. Okay, but as we all know difficulty is not a nice thing, so sooner or later the amount of coins may not be sufficient to pay the fee. According to the contract, in such a case Genesis Mining may deduct a missed fee from later earnings. If that happens once then it's not quite a disaster, but what happens if the fee is structurally higher then the mined coins? Will the fees be lowered? Will the hashrate be set higher? Will GM keep on demanding fee money until the customer is in debt for life? Will the "life time" contract end? Anything else perhaps?
Can Genesis Mining make this subject a bit more clear, please?

So ideally GM might continue to provide mining service until the fees (all inclusive) equals the daily payout for a particular contract. There may not be such thing as lifetime IMHO.

"Lifetime" is a promotion gimmick. You will pay an ongoing maintenance fee (similar to Gaw, the kings of self-promotion).

Well, ideally Lifetime is not a gimmick. Future hardware might very well be capable of holding all the hashrate you have now, plus what you buy then, and be more efficient, and so on.
Translated: Genesis Mining has a power bill based on the total amount of MHS/GHS delivered by the current hardware. Maybe a few months from now they buy a batch newer hardware which is more powerful and at the same time more efficient. The power consumption per MHS/GHS is actually going down then. If you add another batch, same thing. If you add another batch and at the same time get rid of a batch of less efficient older hardware, the effect will even be a bit bigger. And that's just one way, but perhaps GM comes up with more efficient ways of preserving power usage, or make their own power, or...
Get the picture?

Important Notice:
We are really overwhelmed by the huge demand for our new contracts. Also we are happy for all the feedback from the community so far and are glad that you like it!
We managed to get back on track with the approval system and from now on your contracts should get approved without bigger delays again.
Thank you!
