Everyone with a crashing problem, please try this: When synced the wallet crashes after a few seconds. I have updated the Vericoin.conf and removed all contents except wallet.dat
AppName: vericoin-qt.exe AppVer: 1.0.5.0 ModName: vericoin-qt.exe ModVer: 1.0.5.0 Offset: 0014e38c
Clear all but wallet.dat from your %appdata%/vericoin folder. Download this bootstrap.dat file and put it in the same directory: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5mEp5uSIa6zU044YlNoaTZPWTg/editThen start the client. Let me know if it crashes on IRC: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=%23vericoin&uio=d4Also, to the miners out there-- please sign up for the pool that has a lower hashrate.

So far so good. Network hashrate seems to be more stabilized now. We reopend the registrations on the First PoH again. Please be so kind and try to spread the hash nearly to the same amount in order to stabilize the network. If you see much hashing power at one pool, it would be nice if you could swap the pools (pools are the same from the settings, payouts etc.) You could select the pool to your location: Pool 1 is located in the EU, Amsterdam http://188.226.139.209/MPOS/public/Pool 2 is located in the US, New York http://107.170.153.128/MPOS/public/We also added the "pool dropdown menu" so you can simply switch the pools homepage without the need of typeing the IPs or anything (domain name will come soon) We, the PoH team are glad to be the host of the pools for such a nice coin! *Last Edit: May 11, 2014 at 10:29:14 PM (forum time)

I am moving about 20mh/s now to the EU pool and drawing about 10mh/s from the US pool for more balancing.
Its ok as it is now, its just bad if one pool gets like 50% network hashing rate.
I think tomorrow, if more miners read we have EU and US servers, the hashing power will spread depending on the locations and not on the pools.

Just to reiterate, both pools are currently running fine without any issue. The 0feepool still has its wallet, which works, and is working to distribute out all of the mined coins that are from before the fork in the blockchain.
Do not fear! effectsToCause, I, and the rest of the helpful people here are able to get through this.
There will be a new wallet ready to go for either tonight (EST) or tomorrow morning. It will be a mandatory update again but will have increased version control requirements blocking it from connecting to the bad blockchain (which is causing some issues still). Keep mining. Your wallet and coins are safe.
I might have missed it, but how long are the confirmations? Nevermind, remembered where to look.

Yes you were right, i am sorry. I accidently coppied the wrong location order of the pools. I checked again and here is the right location list: 188.226.139.209/MPOS/public/ EU Amsterdam
107.170.153.128/MPOS/public/ US New York Sry again guys, but this is the real order (the pools have also the right names)

ok guys,
i was checking the pools and it seems like we forked again.
The Pool located in NY is about 10 blocks in front of the other pool.
107.170.153.128
Waiting for instructions, setting both pools in defense maintance mode now.

Hey guys, thanks for bearing with us. I think I found a fix for the issue some clients have been having and a way to protect the network from forks. Doing some testing then posting the update to the site. However we do need more than two pools, is there anyone who can launch a third pool? The multi pools/farms are disturbing the network spread.

I countered as fast as possible. Pools are now again back on the same chain, i think that fork was just about to happen but we got it countered. We maybe mined one block which is going to be an orphan soon.

I could setup a third pool if we need one, and i was thinking the same. We must spread the farm power better and more efficient.
Multipools kicking in and destroying the balance :/

We maybe mined one block which is going to be an orphan soon. Great! I think the staking prevented us from forking there, but we would be best with a third pool (it's hard to take ~66%). Yes if you could do a third pool that would be awesome! You guys could get another bounty for it too. Thanks testbug you have been great!

I really must go to bed now.
But i will set both pools into maintenance mode now for preventing any further damage.
Seems like the cronjobs are broken right now for showing the new blocks.
I am trying to fix this in the morning, or in the evening.
3. pool is also comming tomorrow.
Greetings and have a good night.
The cronjob for new blocks is broken on the 188.226.139.209 (man we realy need a domain...) pool, but i have someone messaged already for helping us.
The wallets have not been damaged!!! Same to the user payouts, they might still be working but only not visible that the pool is finding new blocks.
I will investigate again tomorrow.

I removed the maintenance mode but closed regisration and invitation. To all new miners: We will get everything fixed by tomorrow. If the community is willing to do this, we could get a list and seperate hashingpower by location EU/US for the beginning. With a 3. pool comming in tomorrow (i will create one for sure) and with the wallet update i think its going to be better.
