I can provide a block explorer, if someone would release the python module for the hash algo, I'm sure the person that run the pool has this as it is needed to run the pool as far as I know, the dev can def do this.

Good.  The block explorer is bloody required.

I think that pool is written in NodeJS but I have made a python module. I will upload it soon.

Thanks, we would love to see a p2pool in action , any chance you get the work done without a hard fork ?

On another note, guys stop sending traffic to the pool, it has not paid anyone for the last couple of blocks!

Uh wow, way to be rude. I'm sorry this whole POB and POW thing is kind of new to me. I probably should consult an expert like yourself obviously to guide me in the right direction.

What is the problem here? I'm asking a simple question, that's it. I don't think that outburst was very called for. This is a very confusing concept, do I burn the coins or not huh? Yes or no. Simple question.

Don't worry, the guy's a huge prick with an overinflated ego and astounding sense of entitlement.  Burning coins is akin to leasing a miner for a period of time.  If you burn your coins, though, you'll need to be patient, as you are effectively solomining in a sea of other miners.  The command 'getburndata' might help you get familiar with what's going on.

There's a bug or something. For example, I received a PoB block. In transactions, it shows (amount) 10.74. But if I click details, it says: +0.202502 SLM

Happened to me 3 times already. Is it a visual bug, or I'm not receiving all the coins I should?

Lol same somehow got 2 burn blocks like this. Oddly though the wallet that mined em was shutdown at the time!!! on sync this morning 2 pob's between pool payments im quite confused as i thought the wallet had to be running for pob  Huh

I noticed a few days ago that if you send coins from a PoB block from one wallet to another, they show up with the burn icon in the UI. So maybe the pool generated a couple of PoB blocks and split them among the pool miners. I received a couple of blocks like that at as well, at an address I've only used for pool mining.

Wait till you start seeing transactions going OUT of your wallet to unknown addresses for amounts of 0.X ... If you encrypt/lock the wallet, you wont get any PoB blocks...

Several payouts appear to have come in just now.

Now the question is.. will you re-connect? Wink

No i will not as i am missing payments for couple of blocks. Difficulty has dropped so i will solo mine. I've got over 20% of pools hash power so i should be getting some blocks. Downside is i have to run XX instances of the buggy wallet to accept all incomming connections......

Disregard primer-, he's our local pet troll, here and on the Myriad thread.

PoB is VERY slow to reward you, because it is like paying a mining contract. You get coins very very slowly, and in a very inconsistent time frame, not like a pool does definitively.

However, it is the best way to mine coins for the uninitiated, because it just needs a little computational work.

Burn 25% Stash 75%. That's my suggestion.

There are obviously problems with the wallet, so naturally the pool is having issues as well, nothing I can do about it except modify the pool so it can deal with the buggy failure that the wallet is.
I have just added a block check counter, it will only discard the block after the block have been verified to be an orphan at least 10 times, hopefully this will lead to much less "fake" orphan blocks.

I urge everyone to wait until wallet problems are fixed by the dev. I am missing at least 3-5 payouts from the pool. Blocks were confirmed but no payouts have been sent.

Anyway, diff is low, solo mining is now possible.

How can  you afford to pay a %10 bonus ? Why pay out of your own pocket ? I smell scam Smiley

If the blocks were confirmed it would obviously have paid out, what is your address? I'll send you some compensation so you can shut up.
