Look at my post 1-2 pages back, i had mysterious send-outs to my own address for no apparent reason. broken wallet, broken coin.

Yeah, I've read that :/ Too bad the developer abandoned the coin. It seemed like a good concept.

I dont like the concept at all, you still need to mine PoW in order to keep PoB dominance.

What i would like to know is who pushed this broken coin into bter.com. I'm sure it was not done for profit.  I dumped 90% of total volume in the first 24h, no one else.

Whats going on at the exchange, i used to sell slim at 0.005, 10x what its worth today Sad Damn, i should have sold ALL..

Dev is nowhere to be found, seems like he gave up. No wonder, wallet is so buggy it would take a month to fix.

I should have sold all my coins when they were 0.005 :/ I think I will stop mining this coin. A lot of bugs and dev dissapeared :S

Oooh please, by all means, leave the coin and go whine somewhere else.
  • Everyone should have sold all their BTC when it was >USD 1200
  • Everyone should have sold all their LTC when it was >USD 40
  • Everyone should have sold all their (INSERT SCAMMY COIN NAME/TICKER HERE) before the scam was exposed.

If we count the times everyone should have done something else, the server would have 99% posts about weak hands whining on threads.

Stop whining and move on, this world is full of a vast amount of altcoins, grow up and go profit on something else.

If this wallet is so buggy, why not send a pull request on Github? This is supposed to be community effort, right? Also, being inactive on this thread for a day does not mean this coin is abandoned, that is just silly. I am working on other stuff for Slimcoin.

Jesus if the dev doesn't post for a day he might have real life things he has to deal with, or he might be trying to improve the client or the pool. What is wrong with everyone? I mean I only have 2 coins atm but still that's better than nothing in my eyes. And if I choose to exchange, then I'll get a little BTC everyone wins!

Man people are just quick to pass judgement.

What else could I say?

A UFO will land, steal your peanut butter and the world will end. Read up on the thread and the OP before asking silly questions.

Great explanation from earlier in the thread:

  • PoB is the same as mining contracts! This is great, because every miner doing PoB has the same probability of hitting PoB blocks. Further burning coins is like extending your mining contract, not contracting more hashing power.
  • You can know how much of your burnt coins has been used to hash on PoB via the decay feature. Decay/Confirmed Burnt coins = Percentage done of the "mining contract".

EDIT: From reading the dev's whitepaper, it seems like the more coins you burn, the higher your chance of hitting a PoB block. Otherwise this explanation seems accurate, though.

No its not. The more coins you burn the more chance of hitting a PoB block. If you burn only 10 coins chances you find a PoB block are almost none. Don't fucking spread misinformation.

You're right. From the whitepaper: "The more coins that are burnt, the smaller this unique burn hash will be, making it more likely to be valid and accepted by the network."

Gonna go back and edit my post.

The whole concept of PoB is just stupid in my opinion, more or less the same as PoS. This coin is dead.
