I have, the node list above still connects to the other fork. Let me try to force the node via connect= ...

Mandatory Client Upgrade

The block chain fork has been fixed along with some other Proof of Burn block discrepancies.
Update the wallet now to get on the correct block chain fork.
You must update the wallet before block 10500 for Proof of Burn block discrepancy fixes.

Source Code: https://github.com/slimcoin/slimcoin
Binaries: https://github.com/slimcoin/slicmoin-executable

After you update the wallet, add the addnodes found on the OP page. Delete both blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat. Start the wallet up the first time with the -rescan option.

I have done a pull request with the checkpoint for the longest chain
https://github.com/rfcdejong/slimcoin

Good call, Raymond.

The compiler warns that uint's aint big enough, I made mine uint256s.

Code:
static MapCheckpoints mapCheckpoints =
  boost::assign::map_list_of
  ( 0,      hashGenesisBlockOfficial )
  ( 9012,   uint256("0x00000006b2c364c71c279977abc8adf528d25263fb3b4fa623a309745d9f6246"))
  ( 9013,   uint256("0x000000064ce948cdba2c2223dd75c3677847a00daded6be78a097db82d616eee"))
;

wfm. I successfully managed to restrain myself from submitting a PR to your PR.

Cheers,

Graham

Quoting for reference

Compiling the wallet now, the pool will have some downtime while I update it.

BTW, I'm adding .1BTC to the rpcthreads bounty.
So total .25BTC if someone implements that.

The most important thing to know is that the more coins you burn the more chance you have in finding a PoB block. You will be burning your coins for a real long time! Smiley
But i suggest you get at least 0.5 % of the current burn amount if you want to take part of PoB blocks, the longer you wait the harder it will become, more and more coins are being burned.

70K burned

Lets say if you burn 1K SLM it will be 71K burned

100 / 71 = 1.4 % chance to find a PoB

they aren't gone.. they are burning and getting very slowly decayed (gone!). That being said you cannot transfer burned coins or make them unburned. While they are burning you can find a PoB block which is with the currently diff around 25 coins

Anyway it seems it isn't possible to use the RPC to find which block has burned data Sad

Look at the code, line 162
https://github.com/slimcoin/slimcoin/blob/a8be716fa426d7c021bca932ea3dd6ca103c481e/src/bitcoinrpc.cpp#L162

It isn't showing Proof of Burn, which should call this code, line 1205 (and perhaps initialize a block first)
