With Proof of Burn, if one first buys some coins, the coin is quite profitable.
I admit i spread this FUD as soon as the coin hit bter. Went along the lines of "If you burn xx coins now you are to profit for months to come". It worked, the traders went crazy and the price was ridiculously high. Bull... of course, you could have burnt 1000slm right after launch and you would not be getting any PoB now, well maybe one block per day. In a week you wont be getting any. I know, i've got 8k burnt. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

BTER did not kick this coin. They suspended the trading since I told them I may fork Slimcoin to fix the syncing failures that have been going along.
To fix this, I need more debug.log files to fix this issue. If anyone has one, send it over to me please.
To get a debug.log file, start the wallet with the -debug command and after some time quit it and go to your slimcoin root directory (the one with the blkindex.dat and wallet.dat, etc). Send me the file named debug.log.

BTER did not kick this coin. They suspended the trading since I told them I may fork Slimcoin to fix the syncing failures that have been going along.
To fix this, I need more debug.log files to fix this issue. If anyone has one, send it over to me please.

The coin launched a few days ago, it provides innovative features, you act as if all other devs are perfect, and spread fud. BTER stopped trading due to the fork issues, which will be resolved when the network has more pools, and thus hash spread throughout the network, of course a new coin with innovate featues may have bugs initially. The first day was fine, the dev may have tested privately, but private testing does not simulate the use and demands of a large network. The dev has released multiple updates to the wallet to fix issues, and is continuing to work to the best of their abilities, you want to buy cheap coin and sell it when this coin gains more knowledge, volume, and of course the bugs are fixed. Please stop, you're giving the community a bad image. |

Agree. Shame on dev. This coin was perspective, but dev is slow. Shame on you! You want stuff faster? Do it yourself! You want a fulltime dev? Donate him! Or gtfo here and grab youself some scamcoin at ipo Dev's doing a great job, all bugs so far have been fixed in time (<48 hours). He asks for debugs to fix the sync issue.. SEND THEM instead of complaining! |
