So, C-Cex has now answered my questions concerning my missing CSC coins by again refering to this thread and saying,  "There is our post."   Reading the troll box, it appears that they fuck up several wallets everyday and people still trade there.  I honestly have to wonder now if this isn't just an outright scam.  There's no "Sorry we fucked up and lost your money" or "We would like to find some way to earn your trust" or anything.  What a bunch of dumbass loosers.  C-SUX is a better name for them.  Let the people you know who trade know about all the bullshit going on there.  Save someone the drama and dissappointment.

I could swear this is like the 3rd or 4th thread I have read recently with similar C-Cex complaints.  Don't think I will be doing any trading there that's for sure.  Sorry to all those that lost coins!!

I've been trading at c-cex for long now, no complaint whatsoever. Of course wallets have issues on most exchanges and people are informed in chat of the same, so welcome to the crypto-world kiddo !! Every exchange closes wallets when there is a problem and it is GOOD on their part to inform the users of the same !!

Also instant support at c-cex is a big win win and have had my issues resolved in a max of 2-3 hrs !! So don't judge a book by chinese whisper reviews, try to read it yourself Smiley

Some good news i think Wink ..... i did a fork of BitcoinJ (actually on the Digitalcoin fork of BitcoinJ as it already had made some important changes) and created CasinocoinJ as a Java casinocoin client. This fork can be used to create all kind of Java based Casinocoin applications, being web, desktop or mobile. Take a look at https://github.com/ajochems/casinocoinj and try the build. When i run the example it gets stuck on block 719 during download, ... not sure yet whats the issue. I also would like to get a clear list of changes made to casinocoin in v1.2.0 to see if i need to make changes to CasinocoinJ.

Using CasinocoinJ will allow me to create a Casinocoin fork for Andreas Schildbach’s Android bitcoin wallet which will be my next step, .... yes i dropped my previous attempt to create a hybrid mobile wallet as the server part was giving me too much trouble and i decided i do not want the responsibility of online coin storage in light of the recent C-CEX problems. This variant will store its own wallet on the device!

1.2.0 has KGW v2 and digishield. These will affect the diff calcs.

I have KGW now also added to CasinocoinJ (digishield will follow) but those kicked in at 227000 for v1.1 and 445000 for v1.2. I now solved the previous errors when downloading the block chain and have the blockchain now downloaded up to block 5760 but there it gets stuck on a difficulty change again. Anybody know if anything special happened at this block? -> http://csc.blockexp.info/block/0290be2a686d4bcfa7aa3069ecea68638a64d687b1a0cc7e4d6e19010225c082

Hey ya'll, I've added CSC to my new Multipool. Would love to have some miners stop by and mine! CSC is quite often the most profitable coin!

xpool - DRK Multipool

PROP reward system
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
0% Fees while in BETA
To mine:
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

I've changed this multipool to payout in DarkCoin now instead of BitCoin. CSC is on there and often getting mined.

Cheers!

ZPOOL - the miners multipool! Support We pay 10 FLUX Parallel Assets (PA) directly to block rewards! Get paid more and faster. No PA fee's or waiting around for them, paid instantly on every block found!

Absolutely.  Can't stop autosell but you can slam the breaks on the inflation (mining subsidy).

That new update can't come soon enough.  Give this coin a chance to get off its knees.

I always autosell at highest price which is the second sell price. I can not see how that would destroy the trade price? If i would decide to sell manually at this moment i would also sell at or arround that value. What does have a negative impact at the trade price is selling at the buy price.

Because miners mine a coin like CSC with no intention of holding it longer term - they just mine and dump at whatever the "high" bid is at the time.

And when you're talking about 3 million coins per month with most of them being dumped at market price then that creates an inflationary destruction of any asset price.

There's a reason coins with high inflation and huge max caps trade for fractions of a penny compared to coins that do not inflate and dilute the same way.

Casinocoin, Are you available to help support the release in a few days? I know you've been busy with real world matters the last week or so.
I can help with whatever needs to be done just let me know!'Things are back to normal now so ill be more active, and still trying to push for the updates to casinocoin.org I wanted to finish last week.

What date were you planning on forking or block to initiate the new coin specs.

Good show. I'm working on packaging clients now. Once that's done, I'll give them to you for the web updates. To be safe, let's target this weekend for the release. This way there's no rush and we can nail down the release procedures without too much pressure.

The books are real thin. Even trickling 50 coin sells in every couple minutes can cause 90% price declines over time. Hopefully, dropping the reward from 50 to 10 will help curb that.

I think there will be a definite and immediate positive impact on price and value.

Casino may become a good case study for over inflated and diluted coins.  Should be fun to watch how it develops in the weeks and months to come; especially as many new investors come in.

Let also update the OP with the lower numbers since that's what new investors will use.

Gold, I was thinking instead of this weekend, as it's quite close already especially for au we should launch the new wallet(updates) on the same day CasinoCoin was released 1 year ago (july 18th)
It would give everyone a bit more time, and also make the date significant!
As well are you able to compile the 3 wallet versions or did need some help with that? I can set up a VM and do windows, but had no luck with mac last time around and have never tried linux. Are we pushing the old clients out with the update as well?

Id like to take some requests for the changes of casinocoin.org as well! We can have rotating banners on the front, with text etc, header can be changed, menu could be cleaned up. Little things like these, at this point I don't want to do exactly what I want but rather get some input from you guys.

Sure. July 18th is fine with me especially if you think it has more promotional value. The subsidy changes wouldn't kick in for at least a month anyway. So, it should affect anything from a technical standpoint to wait until July 18th.

Windows is the hard one for me. Can you document that procedure? I can handle mac and linux easily. I do almost everything exclusively on those two platforms. Please wait to build the client until I change the branch from dev to uat. I have a friend who I asked to do one last code review for me. It should be only a day or so then we'll lock the code.

Yes. The old client need to be pushed out to enforce the eventual subsidy change. I incremented the minimum protocol required. I'm testing this out now to see what the best way to handle creating new seeds.
