I was thinking, why not create a buy coin option on the wallet and the website, atm the only way to get any coin is through exchanges but as seen with c-cex this comes with risk, i think it would be a great way to stand apart from other coins, perhaps have a small exchange section where you can convert any coin and currency into csc, this would also make it easier for those looking to buy csc for gambling reasons as they will not have to sign up to any exchanges, off the top of my head you could power it through an existing exchange

I tried to go to a couple of links in the OP and found they were dead. Here's a report of (maybe) dead links for removal.

Exchanges
Not yet Updated to V1.2.0
C-CEX (CSC-BTC): https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=csc-btc [Is this still an exchange we want to promote?]
C-CEX (CSC-USD): https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=csc-usd [removed csc/usd listing]
Coins-E (CSC-BTC): https://www.coins-e.com/exchange/CSC_BTC/ [webpage unavailable for me, but still posting on twitter. Major scam accusations: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=418416.0.]

Pools

MPOS / Custom
Hasher | http://www.hasher.ca | 2% fee PROP reward system | ProfitPorts (beta testing now) [removed from coin list]
RoseMining | http://casino.rosemining.com/ | 0% | PROP [504 error, but I'm at work so it could be a proxy issue.]
ScryptGuild | http://scryptguild.com | AUTO SWITCHER POOL  *Can Keep CSC Mined* [Cannot find a coin list, so I can't confirm]

P2Pool:
[Not sure how to confirm which P2Pools are up and which ones aren't. If someone else could check, I would appreciate it.]
xPool - US West (@CartmanSPC) | http://csc.xpool.net:8840 (US West) | 1% | stratum | PPLNS
CSC OneBTCPlace - | https://www.onebtcplace.com/getting_started | 1% | stratum | PPLNS
E-Pool - (@amarian12) | http://csc.e-pool.net:8840 | 1% | stratum | PPLNS
Cryptal | http://cscpool.cryptal.net:8840 | 1% | stratum | PPLNS
P2Pool Name | http://p2pool.name:8840/ | stratum | PPLNS
CryptoVein | us-east1.cryptovein.com:3333 | Stratum | Switcher | Special Features
Ssdpool | miners1.ssdpool.com:3342 | Stratum | 0% FEE | PROP
ISpace | ispace.co.uk:3514 | Stratum | 0% FEE | Multiple Pool Support
XPool | mine.xpool.ca:7777 | 0% FEE | PROP | Multi

You can add in my pool, casino.weminealtcoins.com. We're mining on it right now with around 30-50 Mh of power. Depends on how much the other guy wants to throw into the coin on the average day. We have a 1% fee, but I'm also willing to give that fee out to blockfinders as well if we get a bunch of power for a reward based thing.

Mining info should be easy to find on the website as well for setting up a user/password and ports.[/list]

Are we ready for the 18th?
Any more changes before I start to compile for windows going to set up a side machine to do so and make sure everything goes smoothly.

Seems like there is not much discussion going on right now and just mining!
No ones been at casinocoincity or cccitypoker in awhile as well, what should be done with these(keep them or attempt to find an investor/buyer?

Code review was fine. I'm working on client for mac now. BTW, before the release, we'll need to setup a few seeds. So, the dns entries will need to be updated with the new client.

Are you code savy in anyway?
Anyone who has PHP experience would be able to add games no problem

Limited experience and I have no time to make a commitment... Life is too busy right now

There wouldn't be any advantage to upgrading early. The subsidy changes won't kick in for about 10 days. Today I plan to move the dev code into UAT and merge in the DNS changes. So techniclaly, the code will be available this afternoon in a UAT branch on github if you wish to give it a go before the 18th. Wink

OMG I really hate boost 1.55.0 and clang 3.4 on Maverick. homebrew is still distributing a horribly broken boost. I want to rip my hair out right now. lol

New full node added on my server,
addnode=10.0.2.15

Let's make this one of the dns seeds after the upgrade.

10.0.2.15 is not a valid (internet routable) address. It's a private class A address similar to the more commonly known private class C addresses in the 192.168.0.0/16 range.

Could this be because it is installed on the same server as another casinocoin wallet ?

Do you use NAT? Maybe that's your internal address.

FYI - I've created a UAT branch on github. A linux binary is finishing compiling now. I created the UAT branch, merged master and dev, and applied a last change to have the subsidy reduction kick in ~10 days from now at block 575k. Tomorrow we'll have a hardfork when the client is released.

If anyone wants to look, here is the diff between UAT and master source:
https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/compare/casinocoin:master...casinocoin_1.3.0-uat

NOTE: I have not updated master yet. Tomorrow, UAT code will be merged into Master when the release officially occurs. Wink

BTW, it seems it is now near impossible to build a client using boost 1.55.0 on OSX Mavericks with xcode 5.1 and clang 3.4. Apple nerfed this horribly and unfortunately the patches to fix this which have been out since march won't make it into boost officially until version 1.56. I've spent two days trying to get this working form boost sources to no avail. ;(

So tonight I'm going to try to get the osx client compiled in a vm running Lion. Right now this is the only major task outstanding besides putting up a few seeds and having casinocoin update the dns seed entries. So it's looks like we're on track for tomorrow. no delay anticipated. Wink

Casinocoin, please build your windows client off the casinocoin_1.3.0-uat branch for release preparation. I'll send you the linux binary privately for the website update for now. Hopefully, we can get the osx client settled int he next 6 hours. Wink

Casinocoin,
If you will, please add the following server as a seed: 107.170.240.40:47950

This seed will be one that I'll start the new client on once ready.

ALL: please wait to upgrade once the release is official.

No, nothing recieved.

Yesterday I subscribed again at

"Casinocoin Announcements" mailing list here: http://eepurl.com/WGeu1

Thanks. I'll do some extra checking around the next mailing to make sure it goes out. Strange though because the mailchimp test email seemed to be delivered to me. Do you have any spam filtering by any chance?

Yes, I got mine for the pool. I didn't sign up on the user one because I'm a pool OP. I was very happy to see that email, and I made the announcement on my pool in a timely manner.
