I contacted the new CSC dice site if they could supply me with an api to create an android CSC dice game as tutorial to use the android/casinocoinj libraries. I get no response from them so i started thinking i will give it a try myself to create our own Dice service and make it publicly available.

Then the following idea just came to my mind, …. why not integrate a possibility to play dice right from the Casinocoin Qt Wallet application. If the underlying Dice service is being ran from casinocoin.org and the proceedings go to CSC development, we would all benefit. I would like to know what the community thinks about that and how we could make that as transparent as possible?

We have to be careful not to vouch for gambling operations in the wallet. Maybe it's best to provide prepopulated address books or links/referrals to the gambling sites.

I am thinking that we could portray the image of virtual casino chips, so perhaps an image of a stack of chips turning into 0101010111's with translucents, working on this atm, shouldnt take more than a day or so, i just like to keep my ideas on here for as much input as possible

Yeah, good concept with header.......like the 1s and 0s idea.

I think though, the word digitalizing should be replace with "digitizing".......more proper I think and rolls off the tongue better.

Digitizing is definitely the better choice.  I think that's a good motto to go with at least for the casino play.

well i will supply the png images to casinocoin, (that being the casino chips and the logo) the text and sizing can then be finalized when put into HTML as its a simple back ground and bit of text, this is just what i imagine it to look like, and yes digitizing is a lot better, I feel like an idiot for not putting it b4 cheers Huh

I can't find any decent pool to mine this coin. Coinking has it but my miners would not work on that coin there for some reason. Would like to mine if someone can suggest a good pool? Thanks

Don't feel like an idiot honest mistake! I really do like the banner as well, we would have to switch it into two different pngs like you mentioned, but that could easily be one as well the text added through html.

[/quote]

you clicked on the wrong banner click on the one a couple of posts b4 as i edited it and changed image location, and this is only an image will have to supply the different elements directly for use.

Also how is the whole ATM - bitkee - and marketing coming along, as these are the things that will really pus the coin into the real gambling world, also it may be a little bit early but has anyone thought about getting a real investor, someone willing to pay real money for advertising and marketing etc...

casinocoin if you could private message me your email it would be easier to send all the images as png in a zip folder instead of making them all public on image hosting websites, also i can re-render the iimages different colours or at different angles, could i have the exact colour code of the red you used plz so i can simply change all the red to match exactly, i think all the graphic needs will be covered then unless you have more ideas in mind then i should be able to create nearly any kind of image in no more than a day or so.

Hey, anyone interested in running an altcointip bot for casinocoin on reddit? https://github.com/vindimy/altcointip

I'm thinking about setting one of these up. Maybe it would be useful for tipping in gambling related discussions, etc.

I also compiled the OSX version of the v1.3.0.0 wallet. I uploaded it to https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases/download/1.3.0.0/CasinoCoin-Qt.zip @casinocoin -> can you update the links on www.casinocoin.org as well for the OSX wallet?

... Oh and the link to the linux version is also missing -> https://github.com/casinocoin/casinocoin/releases/download/1.3.0.0/casinocoin-qt

Thanks for this. I couldn't get this compile to save my life. What version of OSX did you use?
Used my old Macbook Pro running OSX Lion 10.7.5. Just installed Qt 5.3.1 and all necessary dependencies via homebrew. Added the deps to the qmake pro file. Will checkin those changes to Git.

This client doens't seem to run for me on Mavericks. It crashes out immediately

I probably need to build it without miniupnp support for OSX, ... on my older macbook is runs fine but maybe on the newer macbook/OSX versions it does not. I will compile a new version tomorrow and let you know when its uploaded.
