That is better than chatting with a support team  Grin Though it catches some attention ofcourse.

http://bitcoingamblingsites.com
lets start contacting these online casinos and get csc on them, the more requests they get the more chance they will add csc

https://www.betcoin.ag/casino you can give it a chat.

w
when can we play with Casinocoin?

I am not understanding your question.
w
This is a BTC and LTC casino. Should be good tos see the real Casinocoin be addopted

George Davis
Maybe in the near future but for now we do not have plans of implementing Casinocoin.
w
http://www.casinocoin.org/ should be a good thing! Thans for your answer

It is easy to obtain bitcoin though.

You can buy bitcoin from individuals that own bitcoin as well as sell them to anyone interested in buying them. The most common ways to acquire and sell bitcoins are through exchanges.

We highly recommend Coinbase.com (largest), QuickyCoin.com (fastest) and BitStamp.net to purchase bitcoins quickly for cash. You can purchase coins from these companies and also sell coins for cash to convert your coins back into your local currency at anytime.
w
I prefer Casinocoin :-)

George Davis
Well we all have our preferences. Good lUck!
w
http://www.casinocoin.org/ bey for now and I hope to see CSC will come up here soon. Bey for now Thanks.

Ha yes i chated to george as well i asked if he had any email for the sites creators, he just gave me the support email ive sent them an email, its just going to take a bit of digging to get to the bottom of the rabbit hole (in this case the people who actually own these types of sites) perhaps a private email or telephone number or even postal address, these can all be found eventually, especially with the miracle of social media sites, it just needs thinking outside the box

One of our best bets for quicker adoption is: https://satoshibet.com/
They were very interested in integrating a few months ago, but chose DOGE instead.
I was approached and asked if we would like to be added, but this arose: "Was wondering? Is there a BTC bounty for adding CasinoCoin? We are pretty much the biggest Bitcoin casino atm, and we are experimenting with altcoins."

Personally I cannot fund that myself and was unable to keep going forward, believe I asked the community if we wanted to start a bounty but little to no response!

Unfortunately as well the slots will not be going forward at casinocoincity yet, the quote I received was way over the budget I had in mind, but ill get there eventually.

In that chat about a few posts up, he made a very good point. It's fairly EASY to get bitcoin:
-InPerson
-FiatExchange
-AltCurrencyExchange
-Faucets
-GiveAways
-SwapForItems

To be able to get casinocoin we only cover two of the options.
-InPerson(Yet to hear about)
-AltCurrencyExchange(We also have litebit)

This is one of the major things that I think needs to change, but for any of the above to happen need those top notch casinos to accept CSC.

A friend of mine just put me in touch with one of his business associates that is involved in IRL online gambling operations in the Philippines. There could be an opportunity for casinocoin to be added as a low cost funding method for the first time for a fiat-based gambling operation. I'll keep you guys posted as more develops.

It is important when trying to get them to adopt csc to make sure you explain all the recent changes and developments from metal wallets, atm's, subsidy change etc... to show the coin is correcting all its potential floors as well as trying to be innovative

BTW, I have my smartcard reader/writer and I ordered 2 x 40k J2A040 and 1 x J3A040 NXP cards. Hopefully these get here in the next few weeks:
http://www.smartcardsource.com/contents/en-ca/d9_JCOP-NXP-cards.html

Once I get them here, maybe we can launch a new opensource project to create a javacard implementation for casinocoin POS. Wink

Initially, I think we can create a dev environment fairly easily using the Netbeans IDE. SO maybe we get a jumpstart. Wink

BTW, if anyone is interested, I've been tinkering with a simple bash walletnotify script to dump incoming transactions into redis.
Code:
#!/bin/bash
PORT=6379
if [ $1 ];then
        PW=`cat /root/redispw`
        EC=`redis-cli -p $PORT -a $PW EXISTS $1`
        echo $1 $EC >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
        if [ $EC -eq "0" ];then
                ID0=`redis-cli -p $PORT -a $PW INCR testid` 2>&1 >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
                redis-cli -p $PORT -a $PW HMSET $1 id $ID0 tx $1 status new created "`date`" 2>&1 >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
                redis-cli -p $PORT -a $PW SADD new_tx $1 2>&1 >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
        else
                echo Entry already exists: $1 2>&1 >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
        fi
else
        redis-cli -p $PORT -a $PW INCR failed 2>&1 >> /tmp/wallet_notify.log
fi

It works well.

Setup:
- install redis
- redis pw goes into /root/redispw
- save script as /root/record_transaction.sh
- add this line to casinocoin.conf:
walletnotify=/root/record_transaction.sh %s
- restart wallet

 Next version will add a task to a ruby resque worker pool which will run a background job that collects the transaction information and populates the redis hash with this data. When I have this ready I'll give it to you guys. It should help if anyone is into tinkering with some low level wallet integration. Wink

Eventually, I'd like to release a ruby gem that should ease wallet integration specific to casinocoin. There is no reason why it couldn't include fraud mitigation routines as well.

ok ive got one reply so far, some interesting things in this email, i was thinking that he mentioned talking on skype, perhaps goldseal and casinocoin you may want to add him to your skype, heres the email

Hi Mark,

At the moment we are bitcoin only focused as the altcoins are not so widely known. We are not against integrating new coins but it needs to make sense from a marketing point of view and from the development side of things.

The coin itself needs to be accessible from as many locations as possible - selling person to person, presented on bigger exchanges, ATM-s, payment options in cafes etc but most importantly to have wider media coverage for greater public adoption. The main goal would be not to have it on all casinos but for the coin to be reachable for all of public. If the coin is well known then everything else will follow, like adoption by merchants.

To explain my "development side of things" then spending resources and time on integrating a new coin needs to have a positive ROI which means the public needs to be educated about it first.

Overall we would have no concerns over integrating a new coin presuming it meets some or all of the previously mentioned criteria. Feel free to add me on Skype should you want to discuss this again in the future. My Skype is "tauritiitsaar".

Cheers,
Tauri

So i think we need to gain more public attention clearly, I really do think that the facebook page needs to start running again with a ppc campaign, then also twitter

Maybe also use some annoying techniques, maybe to create an advertising banner (similar to the banner i did the other day but maybe a little more information) and just spend ages posting it on all cryptocurrency forums

Also bitkee is sending me images of a fully printed CSC metal wallet, this will make a great addition to a rolling banner

As mark mentioned,
We really need to push for further adoption and find ways to provide casinocoins to users in a more friendly way.
Having to purchase bitcoin and then casinocoin defeats the purpose in the end so this should be one of our major concerns.

I've seen Cryptsy add more coins to the USD page where users can buy those coins with straight USD.  I wonder what it would take to add Casino?

We would need the daily volume to jump quite significantly, if you view the volume it is quite low and that is another reason why the newer exchanges have yet to integrate caisnocoin

Yep I agree. Also we need to get the hashing power up to make this less profitable for miners at current prices. Although, I expect asics to take care of this for us next quarter.

I will say that I am quite pleased with the current price stability. I used to trade ALF <-> CSC and the ratio used to be 2:1 and CSC seems to be holding well between 5:1 and 7:1 these days.

The fact Bitcoin and all alts are crashing isn't helping as miners probably have to sell even more coins to cover their bills.  BTC will probably bottom at $400 and then we should hopefully be off to the races for the rest of the year with an even bigger boom than last year.

I see you have changed the image on casinocoin.org now, i still think perhaps the positioning and size can be altered a little, and i really do think a rolling banner would be better, i should have another good banner for it next week, when i do that i will size the images to what the lady playing poker was, with the banner the same size, i will then leave the rest of the banner blank so you can decide on what text to go for, also without trying to sound cheeky can i have the bounty please, thats quite a lot of coins compared to what i currently have stashed Smiley

perhaps the layout could be something closer to this, i dont really see the point of a search bar and its just all wasted space at the top currently, its also quite common for companies to switch the colours of there logo around to fit into a colour band so thought i would see what it looks like (havnt quite got that correct) what are others thoughts on this?

also the idea would to be to have a diffrent logo/saying for every picture on the roll, currently i think  "An open source, peer-to-peer digital currency specifically designed for casino gaming." is a little long and is very similar to what is found on a lot of altcoins sites (the "peer to peer" bit)
