Time for a community takeover?
So many coins have had that and done way better. With the number of people we have in the community we can do something great. Do something and if the others bring up anything we join and have something even better?

Takeover would not work as long as whales have big wallets. Nobody want to make them more rich lol

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

As far as I know (from reliable sources), the anon wallet has been finished for a few days at least. If that is the case, release should be coming any time now, then we move north.

It is interesting that none of us is able to contact dev here and @ IRC and you have reliable sources. I hope you are right. Btw something strange is happening around, key and cloak dumped almost at the same time...both are anon and sdc got dumped as well...3 coins with the biggest volume...3 anon coins...

Maybe the same group pumped all these coins and has taken profit at the same time. it easier to explain the key dump if they tell its all because of the market  Wink

Coin seems to be dead. There isnt any finished wallet, you can just guys speculate where are devs if they really exist and what they do. Price dropped dramatically, is there any option community can take over this coin ?

If you read the past comments from the devs and mods of Cryptcoin they blame everything on Mindfox and his work. They kept saying its because Mindfox is not done Mindfox is not done. I'm starting to wonder who really is to blame on this...

Someone can explain this?

"Cryptcoin

In the preceding sections I have explained the key ideas underlying Bitcoin. The actual implementation employs some additional ideas to improve the practicality and scalability of the system. For example, the full transaction details associated with a Bitcoin block can be quite large, and for reasons of scalability it is desirable not to have to send around these details each time a particular block is mentioned. For demonstration purposes though, details like this can be safely ignored without changing the essentials of the system, and this is what I have done in designing a simplified version of Bitcoin which I am calling "Cryptcoin". In designing Cryptcoin, I made use of information on the Bitcoin protocol that is that is available at the Bitcoin Wiki, including the protocol specification and protocol rules pages. Since Cryptcoin is a simplified version of Bitcoin (and different from it), although these detailed descriptions of Bitcoin available online might be helpful to some extent, they should not be expected to match exactly what is done in Cryptcoin. Of course, it goes without saying that Bitcoin source code will also not be of much use in the Cryptcoin system.

Like Bitcoin, the Cryptcoin system is a peer-to-peer network of nodes that exchange information by sending various kinds messages. In general, there are only a few rules in Cryptcoin about what messages should be sent at what time, so there is a fair amount that is left to the discretion of the implementor. There are two basic types of Cryptcoin nodes: servers, which can accept incoming connections from other nodes and are full participants in the propagation of blocks and transactions through the system, and clients, which can connect to servers but do not themselves accept incoming connections and do not further propagate blocks and transactions they receive. In Cryptcoin, miners will be server nodes, though there can also be servers that do not engage in the creation of blocks. End-user applications, such as a "wallet" that keeps track of Cryptcoin funds belonging to a particular person and allows that person to send and receive funds, might well be implemented as client nodes. Another example of a client node, which you will probably find helpful in developing an understanding of the Cryptcoin system, is a Cryptcoin Explorer client that I have written. This client serves a purpose similar to that of the Bitcoin Block Explorer or Blockchain.info websites.

Node Function

When a Cryptcoin node is started, it attempts to initiate a connection to one or more "well-known" servers whose addresses are found in a pre-programmed list. Once a connection has been made between two nodes, they begin to exchange messages. An initial "connect/acknowledge" handshake is used to exchange information about the software version of each of the nodes. After that, each node regularly "pings" the other, in order to be able to detect when a peer has become unresponsive and to close the connection to it. Another type of message is used to propagate the addresses of server nodes through the system. When a node hears about a server, it typically will retain its address for some time, so that it will be available in case one or more of its existing connections are lost and new connections need to be made. Finally, the main work of Cryptcoin is accomplished by exchanging messages that serve to propagate information about blocks and transactions.[...]"

You idiots that put a foot long post worth of quotes into your post to type one sentence about it .... stop that.  It's annoying.

Back to my earlier question.  When (and IF) Mindfox releases his wonder wallet..... WHY is that enough reason to make prices climb?  If no one is using this coin now, why would it suddenly change?

I'll never use his magic wallet and I couldn't care less about it.

Make the price go way up.  Now.

I feel that the developers of this coin owe me for making me wait so long.  I think they should buy back my 1304 coins right now.  I want 4 BTC for them.  Mining costs, electricity, appreciation on my investment, my time and patience, and all around general effort.

For 5 BTC I will not post in this topic again.

So what is ever going to happen with this coin to make its price go way up?  Why should it rise?  What can GDN do that the other 300 crap coins can't?

I got tired of mining CRYPT coin and am looking for something new to mine.  I considered GDN again but I see no potential in it.

I'm holding 1304 CRYPT coins, waiting for their so called super secure wallet to come out.

We have invested a lot of our own money in this project and have created many services for GDN users in the 3 months we have been running and plan to continue to do so.

A key factor of Crypto Currencies is the communities, but we have many miners /traders /users who do not support GDN by using the services we have put in place and some also do not get involved in the community.

1. "So what is ever going to happen with this coin to make its price go way up?" We are not going to promise the world and deliver nothing, Global Denomination has many base services in place already but it requires more community involvement to succeed in the long run. As laws and regulations come out GDN will aim to comply ASAP to remain legal in as many countries as possible giving law abiding crypto users a fast X11 algorithm crypto currency to use.

2. "Why should it rise?" Active transparent developers, Open Development team, Constant progression of services and developments, CryptoConnecta.com

3. "What can GDN do that the other 300 crap coins can't?" Global Denomination has always planned to be compliant with regulations that come in for crypto currencies, to ensure it can be used in the real world for a long time to come. Many of the so called "crap coins" you speak of have anonymous features will not be generally accepted by governments due to Money Laundering, Terrorism etc. Some other coins have very short mining periods where as GDN block rewards do not halve until around next April giving new users a chance to come on board and mine at the full block reward until spring / summer 2015.

If you are going to conform GDN to comply with laws set by governments, you've already failed this coin badly.  You've missed the whole point of crypto currencies in the first place.

I do not have 1300 coins.  I have 1304.

I spent 0.8 BTC buying about 650 coins, right around 135K satoshis average price, and I mined the rest.  So I need a CRYPT price of about 65,000 satoshis to break even, not counting the power usage and wasting of my time holding this crap coin so long.

So what is ever going to happen with this coin to make its price go way up?  Why should it rise?  What can GDN do that the other 300 crap coins can't?

I want this coin to 20X in price or more by the end of today so I can profit out and never look at it again.

This market is not for you man. Too much emotion. Too much stress. Just chill the fck down and relax. Hold or sell. We don't care. But chill man Cheesy

Mindfox alone is not going to be the trigger for a new pump with his solution. We need much more. We need a committed dev team. We need a roadmap. We need a good community. We need regular updates. We need so much more. Otherwise we might not go anywhere with this. Just being honest. Crypt has so much potential. I really see CRYPT as a beast that is caged and wants to breakout. Maybe it will. Maybe it won't. We will see soon I guess.

I see CRYPT as just another crap coin that I am waiting on a rise in price to extract my profits from.  After that I couldn't care less about CRYPT or this damn wallet that mindfox is taking forever on.

And if the wallet isn't enough to bounce the price, this coin is screwed.  The developers are idiots.  CRYPT has NO long term potential.  Absolutely none.  After its next pump, if there even is one, it'll go the way of DOGEcoin.

To all those of you saying "to da moooooon" or something equally retarded, STFU.  You don't have the slightest clue of when it'll rise or how much.

Developers - get the pump on already!  I want to pull lots of BTC out of this crap coin already!!!!

BitCoin is the only coin that will ever have long term success.  You must remember that 99% of the public does not understand the computer geek level details like we do, they will stick with what they know.

There is Bitcoin, and all the rest are crapcoins, regardless of any special wallets or features or security.

Let's get this coin pumped up fast and TODAY so I can sell my 1304 coins and never look at CRYPT again.

Well THIS market is on about its 17th bottom in the past 6 weeks.

Double bottom?  Knightlife, this isn't a stock, and you cannot apply stock market guidelines to it!

I just logged onto Mintpal to check CRYPT prices, and saw it at 232K, and down from a high of over 280K.  Whadju.... ikuh... ghi ghi..... WHEN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?! Quick quick quick... log in and sell my shitcryptcoins!

Then I realized I was looking at CLOAKcoin.  Dammit.

I have met scammers in the past who come at things with questions like "why should I steal the source code" or "why should I do this or that", just like in the 0.4 BTC borrow / theft post that went on for many pages.  That guy kept asking "why should I repay it?".

So, pbremem01, just from the questions you ask, I can tell you are up to no good.  You don't fool me.

Mindfox must be a politician.  He does a lot of talking without actually saying anything.

I guess I should say thanks for actually posting here.

Mindfox must not understand english very well.  I keep telling him to come HERE and explain his delays, yet he just stays in some IRC I will never go to.

So KEY price will drop as CRYPT price rises, then I can dump my CRYPT, ride KEY back up, and unload it for a double profit opportunity?  Sounds like it might work but probably won't with my luck.

Well, and about now? ^ anoying? or not?  Idiots?
