I must say, nothing wrong with TAC (except the voting system), great devs/team, they deliver on time.

And if they add private chatting it will skyrock Wink and plus some sort of roadmap of updates would be helpfull for investors.

The price is very low on the moment, but its a great time to buy some TAC.

hi there,

the point is also that everything happens lightning-fast in crypto world!

some days without any real news, announcements or plans induce to leave the most miners ((

it wouldn't be bad to open "to do"-list and to mark already done things. miners love distinctness much more than surprises..

Hi minimila

We are just waiting for the hard fork at block 241920 in around ~1000 blocks, all pools and exchanges have updated.

Later in the week we are releasing:

- New wallet GUI

- API for sites to make in easier to integrate Talkcoin chat

Best,

Chinese miners computer poisoning, TAC stolen, it may have been sold yesterday

Prior to this, Chinese miners thought talkcoin bifurcation, that after the sell-off, TAC will automatically come back.

Other talkcoin miners also began selling in panic

My thoughts:

Initially, I thought the voting was a good idea because it is central to allowing people contribute to the 'democracy' aspect of the coin.

The problem with this is that the altcoin currency world is not ready for such an implementation. It's like the middle east. democracy would be good for the region but countries are just NOT ready for it at the present moment.

1) We also face the prisoner's dilemma, where people will not cooperate even if cooperating would lead to success of the coin.
2) Voting is killing the coin because it is misleading, people will easily dismiss a coin knowing that the worth of their coin could constantly change. There is no confidence in the coin, even if everything works around it.
3) In order to be competitive we need to copy and innovate. It sounds cheap and crappy, but that's how the world works. Ex: Apple/Samsung/Etc.

my suggestion, if i may, and since we are open to voting (thank you tac devs):
1) get innovation, (anonymity + private chat etc.) -- see what the market is hungry for and feed it. I'm saying this because in order for the coin to be utilize.. ppl need to actually buy it and see value in it.
2) close off the choice to move block rewards (freedom to choose is very dangerous, sometimes it's better to be told than to decide)

As an investor I would like to hold but I hate the inflation of any coins. Inflation is unsustainable and push investors away. I kinda believe in talkcoin but refrain from investing more than I have now as inflation is killing my investment as price keep tanking mainly due to miners dumping. Same goes for good coins like VTC and etc.
