I'm still here guys. Apologies for the silence for a little while there.
Priorities over the next few days:
- Answer all PM's here and on the HYPER forums (there are A LOT)
- Answer all emails (again there are A LOT)
- Process all giveaway payments for all the HYPER giveaways (including the Counter Strike competition! The next round will be launching soon too!).
I will be moving away from running giveaways and marketing, so I can spend my time on coordinating the development of the HYPER MMO and other projects. That is what HYPER is about after all!
I would like to thank everyone for their support of the project, and I would also like to thank all the giveaway participants for their patience with me processing the payouts. I have been coordinating a lot of aspects of the project by myself, and there is a lot to do! I am personally looking forward to focusing on the MMO development and other HYPER game projects moving forward.
In regards to Hyperzanda the game is currently in open beta and we make no guarantees (it is a free community project where we cover the costs of hosting and game development after all). Please do make sure to confirm your account via email, as the admin email we currently have on the server does not get checked by a human at the moment.
There is going to be some big announcements soon we have a lot on the table.
I'm trying to install the wallet into linux mint 16 (ubuntu) and for the life of me, I cannot get it to work. I usually use multibit with Bitcoin, does hyper have something similar, where I will not need the complete blockchain? Sorry I'm a total idiot!
Sorry we don't have HYPER multibit yet - but it is something we will consider in the future
For now the only way to run the client is to download the blockchain. Sorry! You can see advice for running HYPER on Linux here:
