Seems no matter what - that there will be FUD...

Can you help me/us understand this post?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg7042123#msg7042123

what is the question?  User A wants to send to user B, instead the coins go to the XNODE - split across several transactions - that is what your seeing -

This part "As you can see you can clearly see the values and addresses, so all the wallet does is replacing the sent from text field as 'unknown' in the GUI"

So he is saying you just run a command with the transaction id and then you have the wallet address of the person it was sent from.

@ATC could you please reply to the post of this guy? I have the same question

This release does not have the multi-path paradigm code which will prevent that.  This is only a test release

Thank you for your answer.
So you are saying this test release is only anonymous if you use the GUI?  Running a simple command reveals the origin wallet address if you know the transaction id?

If that's the case, then this coin is not anonymous at all.

advice:

- fully anonimity with noted blockchain technology is unreal and never will be released.

Admittedly, it's quite a hack to make something transparent work anonymously. At most you can obfuscate things to a degree that is untraceable by 99.9999% of third parties, except some large adversary like the NSA which can control networks, nodes, entire coins through their $$$ etc etc.

NSA-proofing (full anonymity) on the bitcoin's blockchain tech will require some very smart thinking.

They are trying to understand if the dev is for real / if he can deliver what he promises. Depending one's assessment of the situation, one can either buy or sell.

this shows the details - user A requests to send to user B  (user b address is in the sendfrommixer) - but wallet sends to "xnode", not user B

Atcsecure, thanks for the progress so far. I hope everyone understands this is preliminary testing of decentralized anon transfers.

But I think it would be helpful if instead of answering one question or criticism at a time, you organized answer to everyones questions and concerns in one big informative post. I think this will be helpful. Thanks again

true, but why not wait until the promised anonymous transaction is actually released to critique it with a sledgehammer?

and sure, you want to know everything possible before investing your hard earned money in, but everyone seems to be jumping the gun here and expecting things RIGHT AWAY that were never promised to be available right away. if you're not comfortable with not knowing everything before getting involved in the coin, don't get involved. don't harass the Dev into things you want known before you invest since it's all still In Development.

Is it just me or does the dev's responses do not sound technical at all. Seems like his escape goat reply is "this is only a test release"  Not sure if he can get it done.  This post will be deleted in 5,4,3,2....
