Ok, i've wanted to give it a try to 5.1 one more time, yes it mines, but has a problem, at least with my old gpu's. HD5xxx
I have:
HD5800
HD5870
HD5970

Mining is ok, but seems that miner does not control FANS at all, my gpu's temp went in a minute to 90 degrees.
Old miner version 4 controls fans just fine.

here is screenshot:

And this is config:

Any idea why sgminer keeps craching?
Not one version works Sad it closes in a second

I tried your download link and some other versions

Funny that version 5.1.0 works on another PC, but on other crushes..

Try girino's miner.

Can you pls post download link to windows version of the miner you're using ( https://ottrbutt.com/miner/x13localrigwolf-02132015.png )
"sgminer 5.1.0-dev" - can't find it anywhere Sad (wouldnt ask otherwise)
I found "sgminer 5.1.0" but crashes, I would like to try also -dev version...if that doesnt work I'll stick to girinos (with fee included).

thanks wolf0

If you have Omega driver, according to most reports, most miners crashes this one! I suggest using the require catalyst driver except newest one.

seems that these commands does not work in 5.1

"gpu-fan": "0-100,0-100,0-100,0-100",
"auto-fan" : true,
"temp-cutoff" : "95,95,95,95",
"temp-overheat" : "85,85,85,85",
"temp-target" : "80,80,80,80"

make sure your clock speeds when mining
are really equal to those you set in your conf file

Yes, speeds are equal, sgminer 4.1 works perfect with same speeds and fan control works, but with sgminer 5.1 fan control doesn't work at all.

Thanks for comments, i hope that bug will be solved soon.

Have you tried setting all that in the main body of your conf?
You should always have it set there then just add anything you want to chance for algo specific in the algo profile section.

not sure why --algorithm x11 didn't work for you but -k darkcoin.cl was building ckolivas.cl which is the default scrypt kernel
try --algorithm darkcoin-mod and see if that works
