Update:

PoSA v2 paper is almost ready just getting some finishing touches made to it.

Later on today it will be posted on www.cloaktalk.org as we aim to encourage community interaction outside of bitcointalk.

Maybe I'm wrong, but cloak chart looks like bitcoin copy-paste  Smiley
I'm not sure if those are comparable, because the time frames differ a lot. On the other hand, every "bubble" follows this pattern, so you might find this pattern on any coin which has had at least one major increase in price. Look at the charts e.g. on cryptsy and you'll be surprised how common this pattern is. In timeframes of some hours up to several months. Smiley

What you are not accounting is that bitcoin is 1 tech release only... Cloak is working on several things.

All these altcoins being created are great, because there are a handful of altcoins that really make the difference with some sort of innovation. And one day, there will be an altcoin passing bitcoin... just like it happened on the social networks... Facebook was not the first to be created but introduced a lot of new features...

If devs can walk the walk... then cloak will be great. for sure

I only see bright future for cloak, just look at the facts: It has most amazing devs in the world, it has lots of new things being delivered every once in a while, not to mention how undervalued it is because of dumpers. This is my opinion... When others are greedy, be fearful. When others are fearful be greedy. It's time to be greedy, I am buying more  Grin

War between drk and cloak is not good for BOTH sides. Remember that when you attack one or the another,

There is enough space in crypto world for both currencies to exist together.

Everyone relax. Ethereum dumped a fuck-ton of Bitcoin yesterday, the entire market has been affected, and it will settle soon, as it always does.
On another note- yeah, WHY are there so many haters of CLOAK out there? You're right, djslick, the CLOAK fudders are EVERYWHERE.

Alts including ether are indeed driving the BTC price (not the other way around like most are suggesting - however there is surely a feedback loop in play). The last few months there have been some epically pumped coins with dumps worth millions. The players cash their winnings back to fiat and the BTC price gets pushed down.

When the next wave of popular alts arrives these players will again buy BTC to come into the zone again, creating more demand for BTC. Really we're desperate for unique innovation in alts, market is rejecting anon coins now.

All money must flow through BTC first. BTC is the hive-queen, sharing the same blood which ties all alts together.

Maybe one possible way to succeed is Onemarket - the service must be free for all - display Advertisement on onemarket - the possibility of paid advertising with Cloak coins in the preferred course - these funds from ads must go to the Marketing Fund - a fund must be used for more and more promotion Cloak and repeat. The question who will manage the fund? can such a model work? I do not know, what do you think?
