If CLOAK was a scam coin, why they dumped before OneMarket release?

So still hold my CLOAK

still don't understand this dump, DRK failed 3 times to deliver!
we just did one failure and nailed to the ground, i still believe in the Devs and the delivering of what they promising!

I've never seen a crypto community so obsessed about a coin they consider a competitor. Most of the time when I checked this thread out for news on Cloak, I instead learned more about Drk. People complaining about Drk trolls (right after cheering Bob for fudding in Drk's thread)... people going on about the price of Drk, such and such instamine, putting up stupid memes and so on. It was completely baffling. And even here in Cloak's death throes, some folks are still bringing up Drk.

Because they are a bunch of fucking amateurs who cannot make OneMarket functional ? Anyway, the idea is copied from OpenBazaar. They just made a cute interface with radio boxes and drop down menus and managed to fool everyone in here.

The absolute worst people in history, ranked by the wisdom of the crowd: "Vlad the Impaler", "Mihnea the Evil", "Ivan the Terrible" and "Evan the Instaminer".

recent implementations of Zerocoin anonymity

From the libcubarex OP: "Libzero library in code for future feature support of Zerocoin anonymity . No Zerocoin Anonymity active in coin. When feature bearing Zerocoin implementation releases we will announce it here. When any of our Anonymity features release we will announce it here."

So, what are these "recent implementations of Zerocoin anonymity"?

Zerocoin doesn't actually exist, the devs for that project gave up on it a long time ago. I think there they moved into something called Zerocash? Or something like that... which I believe is more an analytical piece than anything real at the moment.

Any coin that starts off with that zerocoin nonsense gets a red flag immediately.
Bankcoin also had zerocoin anonymity, as did one or two others. Of course it was meaningless.

I think the difference is that DRK had technical difficulties/bugs....

Cloak is fundamentally flawed in their design from the grounds up.   It's like saying I don't understand why Leaning Tower of Pisa is so different from other buildings.

Is this true?

Thank you for the dump, I've just made my fastest buck ever, bought at 15k and sold at 25k with 70% pure profit within 2 minutes.

I put back a buy order at 5k Smiley

LoL, the volume was so low that you must be playing with very small amounts of BTC.

PoSa which was supposed to be trustless is not.   The solution that they proposed (block escrow) compound it further.    So, the two basic feature of the coin to give it the trustless anon is no longer the way to go.   So... it's definitely fundamentally flawed from the ground up.

get on the LXC train to recover losses from cloak, target 15k!!!

Yeah, sounds good. Bob is also pumping that coin too.

I can't see anything going horribly, horribly wrong at any point.

Let me add though that it doesn't necessarily mean the dev won't come back with another solution that might work, but at this point, it's a disaster.

v1 - using Exchange to "cloak" coins
v2 - PoSa basic mixing
v3 - Posa v2 mixing + block escrow

All 3 failed and the dev came back with another solution.

So, can they survive another death another time?   Who knows...  I just wouldn't put my money into it for now.

I question why they would bother. I mean, why not just make a fresh new coin and start the process all over again? Free of any negativity.

I guess they could work on 'something', and hope for a price rise at some point. But I doubt it's the sort of rise most here probably would have in mind... sort of dead to semi-dead prices.

Epic dump, gonna be an epic rebound if it does though this is now a gambler's game rather than investors.

@Renegade

Dont flatter me. This has nothing to do with me and everything to do with a free market. If you don't like the crypto game you can always become a real life coin collector. At least then people like me cant mess with your perfect little coin.

What I'd like to know is when will you understand that I have very little impact on new investors joining the cloakcamp. That all lies on the shoulders of the cloakcamp devs and the tech they roll out.  Not me, not 100 btc and not pumpers.. Its the coin and devs themselves!

On that front, I hear some MAJOR stuff is in the works that will blow some minds. Keeping that in mind I do believe with some new news the price will start to move again and hopefully settle above 200K.

Good luck bud, if you want to learn how to trade better, be part of a team and make more money feel free to check out the thread in my signature.

Later man.

People like you destroy the markets. Why did you troll other coin projects day by day. Only to get them into Cloak ( or any other projekt ) and get your personally goal.
After you guys destroyed the whole alt market ( there is no much time left over before it is done ) Then you can transfer
your money around with the left over other scammers and trolls. The best one will be left over with Nothing

No fresh money will hit these fucking markets in future, because people like you come over with the ugliest behaviour i can imagine.

You guys have a self moderated topic here. KICK em OUT of here

My post is old one week now. Did you already fire BOB or did you follow him onto the next pump and still praying to him.
Looks like his job here has already been done. Nice to have people like BOB in crypto world.
