When can you launch in mintpal?Voting seems to be no growth over the last few days.Bittrex feel very uncomfortable, the submit/cancel a order takes too long time, the network don't seem to be unobstructed, most of the time have no way to open, can only use VPN.

Im guessing it's to help stablize the price. So it's currently undervalued since the price is not 2500 sat yet. People should be buying.

It's supposed that this Monday when they start receiving the coins at 2,500 no one will be trading them at 500, they will go (if so) around 2,300-2,490 in the exchanges... depending on the process of the coin refund.

The ongoing stage could be used for promoting the coin, distribution, etc. And what is more important:

Showing the investor (that is supposed to back the 2,500 thing) that the coin has value (high volume, P&Ds, etc.) might be the cause that have encouraged him to accept the backing deal, showing him that the coin has potential and real ongoing value.

If the same partner is the one that has the power of network in UK and is going to promote the use of PayPro, is easy to imagine that he already calculated the % rise from the starting price of 2,500 once it starts rolling, if it does, even to 3,000 only, no one will want to "return" the coins for 2,500 and their business is already running.

Just a wild guess.

Feel it no CEX unobstructed. But surely CEX is a new exchange, fearing it is another sharexcoin.

i just noticed parpro coins are for sale on instant-bitcoins for 4000 sats

We are in talks with a financier and you should be able to sell your PayProCoin for BTC via Instant Bitcoins (UK) Limited very soon.

Kind Regards
Darren

That's interesting. Are we going to be able to sell them for 4000 sats?

We haven't agreed the buying price yet - but needless to say it will be nearer our selling price than the price on offer at Bittrex today!

Kind Regards
Darren Palmer

This post would seem to indicate the offer includes ALL PayProCoins, not just coins which were purchased on their site.

Nice catch, there you go guys.

Some of you are missing the point.

They are not looking to profit off a rising PRO price beyond 2500-4000 sats, they are looking to establish a fixed (ish) market rate for this coin, and profit off the SPREAD of their sales, just like they currently do with BTC.  The volatility of BTC makes holding coins for resale risky in $ terms, a "fixed" priced coin such as PRO would eliminate the risk and generate pure profit off the spread of their buy and sell prices, along with commissions.  The revenue comes from there, not from pumping PRO.

The mainstream won't buy from Bittrex or some other shady exchange.  They will buy from Darren's company and pay a bit more for peace of mind and convenience.

After I am done with you, you will be banned from ever being on the internet again or even owning a PC

Also, did anyone take note that 2500 - 4000 sats is currently (roughly) in the 1 pence price range.

This is a pretty good idea and I don't see a reason for why it couldn't happen.

No one in their right mind would keep their sell orders far below 2500 sat on the exchanges anyway. Depending on where the price is at come Monday, a lucky few might be able to acquire cheaper coins than 2500 but that will instantly be bought up ASSUMING that the instant-bitcoin service is true, legit and fully working.

If instant-bitcoin offers to buy your PayProCoin for 2500 sat and daytrader-Joe is selling his stash over on bittrex for 500 sat, then I would say Joe is pretty dumb.

If I understand correctly, they are trying to establish a "floor", not accumulating all coins and buying them up for "dumb" prices..

So all we can do is wait and hope for all this to be.. well, true. The price is not an issue.

Obviously, we've seen it all; It could just be mere hype to raise the price and then dump, dump and dump. The idea, though, is still a good one.

I have to say the offer, by Darren Palmer, is "interesting".

This coin is not going nowhere near 2500 sat by Monday, that's quite obvious, so it is indeed quite "interesting" to watch this loser's gamble developing since the term is so brief.

///

-- There's absolutely no point whatsoever in making an offer of 2500 sat "guaranteed buy back" with the coin trading under 200 sat.

///

lol.
of course there is a point in setting a value.

this is obviously the problem when "crypto experts" meet "the real world"

Mind you, the 2500 sat is the price "some" -I bet not a lot- paid in the IPO/ICO, but in way over a month -pretty much time enough to determine the real potential of a new coin nowadays- PRO had not managed to go over 100 sat... until this gitzmo was presented with amazingly spectacular initial results.
At least 500 BTC have been traded at present count and the price exceeded 800 sat at one point, which means that a lot of people has bought small participation in this "lottery" that may or may not happen to be true.

I would imagine this post will be censored pretty quickly so, if it is, you would have to go to THE WALL OF SHAME to read it... meanwhile, a few considerations beyond the above stated:

-- Darren Palmer, the name behind this coin, is a total unknown in spite of his self-appointed title as CEO of Instantbitcoins.com. There's no recognizable linked-in profile of him, academic or otherwise employment history anywhere and, unless he is into interior decorating, he simply doesn't exist. Not an endorsement, precisely, for someone that, obviously, pursues and loves the limelight. Where have you been all these years, Darren Palmer? Who were you before you started selling bitcoins in the UK?

-- There's absolutely no point whatsoever in making an offer of 2500 sat "guaranteed buy back" with the coin trading under 200 sat. Any way you choose to examine the gitzmo, you will reach the same conclusion: It can only pursue the dumping of a significant amount of coins against the potential credulous people that will invest small amounts for the outside chance that the offer will end up being legitimate. A lot of those in crypto. And if Iconic Expert joins the fray, quite a few of his twitter followers will probably invest at least small amounts in it, regardless of the (lack of) credibility.

In conclusion, in you are piked by the offer, invest something you won't be seriously affected if it is quickly lost. Otherwise, proceed very, very cautiously.
And read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=649955.0. Extract your own conclusions. Mine, at the (minimal) risk of being wrong, is that you are going to be seriously disappointed by Monday.

We will definitely see very soon.

'
I have PROOF FROM THE DEV that this coin will be selling for 2500 satoshies by monday.

http://pastebin.com/dV6KFTpj

If you wish for me to actually screenshot the skype convo just reply- I'll do it.

Also, no way that the dev is lying/scamming. He's given out all of his PERSONAL info.

Hmm.  Pastebin of IRC, so who knows how reliable that is.  But someone purporting to be the dev spells it out clearly - 2500 sats is the guaranteed price on Monday.

Also, "[8:40:01 PM] Darren Palmer: Under the new agreement - 10million must still be in our hands on Monday when we merge - Im buying PRO myself !"

Sounds like some sort of acquisition or something.
