Um you guys do know that the marketcap should be much more if you include the premine?
Do you want me to sort that out on coinmarketcap, I have sorted issues there before with the owner?
Should double at least...
Let me know and I will sort it out.
It includes the part of the premine that has been released to the market, witch in my opinion is the most correct way of dealing with it. You don't include the coins that are not mined either.

You can`t compare coins that have not been mined to coins that have not been "released" at the discretion of some individuals, can you? Maybe I am missing something regarding the release mechanism.

@CryptoRaver I have a desktop Startcoin wallet and like others, I have had no problems installing it. It's fast and works well! Missing .dll files can be due to several reasons: uninstalling software using shared .dll files; improper shut-down of your computer; malware; virus etc. The solution? First beware of installing PC scan software that you are not sure of. You could be leaping from the frying pan into the fire. If it was me, I'd try installing the free version of Ccleaner from Piriform.com https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/downloadCheck it out first. You will find that it is a well-respected and well-trusted piece of software used for cleaning your computer of cookies etc. My free version has a Registry tab to scan the registry for issues. If there are any missing shared .dll files, it can find them and fix them with the press of a button. Storing your Startcoins in a Startjoin cold wallet and earning weekly interest on them, as Johnp suggested, is another good solution. Good luck!

Of course not add the unmined coins but the premined are added to all those other coins on coinmarketcap are they not? Plus those premined coins are given away and used in startjoin so really they should be added? I normally dont invest in premined coins but since I have here I want to take full advantage and that means showing it on the sheets to help our exposure and growth.

When they are released from StartJoin (as rewards, interest rate or for other reasons) they are counted on an API on StartJOIN. Coinmarketcap fetches the number of coins in the market from this API. It's not completely transparent yet, hopefully it will become better in the future. You can trust these numbers or not, but if you don't trust them you should not invest in Startcoin in the first place since the coins value is tightly coupled to the StartJoin plattform and the people running it.

I do trust the numbers, I am just saying since the coins exist then they should show on the cap no questions asked. Maybe the dev should look into this. cheers

If you want to include the whole of the premine then maybe this other site gives you the answer: http://marketcapcoin.com/To each his own

Go Go Go StartCOIN! Wondering if that might well be a head and shoulders pattern on the bittrex 10m chart though ? https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_and_shoulders_(chart_pattern)Longer-term prospects are still looking very good indeed imho.

Slow, Slow, Slow! Steady progress is being maintained. The pattern over the hourly timeline that you are looking at shows a wavey gradual increase with an occasional price re-balancing, which is to be expected. I don't think that you can read too much into the pattern at the moment and just the opposite pattern to head and shoulders is occuring. Change the timeline to a few days, or a week and a more gradual, sustained picture emerges. My take on it is this: Banks in the UK have warned that keeping interests rates artificially low for far too long has damaged the prospects of an economic recovery; the Euro is in turmoil; the Greek crisis and their loan payment default looks like it could bring matters to a head. The Greek referendum is a way of diverting the blame away from the Greek government, no matter which way it goes. Democracy in action! It's right to be cautious, but I wouldn't be surprised if cryprocurrencies are about to come of age. And of the Top 20 coins on coinmarketcap, Startcoin is still head-and-shoulders above all the rest performance-wise.

Others, including Max Keiser himself, have noted this too and have put its true value at many times what the price it is now. They may be optimistic, but I believe that they have good reason to be.
