i would say it's a combination of having an actual positive use above and beyond the actual coin, plus alot of financial backing.  most coins really just exist to serve itself and the developer, and the endgoal is just that.  startcoin has a purpose far greater, a purpose that is now growing and snowballing on itself.  the greater it becomes, the greater it's purpose becomes, and thus the greater it becomes.  there are actually alot of people that feel the want to help something other than themselves, and we call them startcoin/startjoin supporters.

I took one of the points in your graph, 0.0183 and calculated that when we reach that point startcoin should be worth $125 million. That's for second or maybe third stage of the rocket, still at stage one.

There won't be 2nd or 3rd stage anytime soon. Low liquidity at buy side, almost vertical direction of price curve and not much buying pressure means price will highly likely correct downwards.

Obvious pump and dump.. funny how its market cap seems to rally to just beat bcn by a few hundred dollars then stop. Anyone who thinks this is a legit rise is out of touch with reality. Hopefully they will blow the synth prices eventually and it goes away.

So what popped the bubble? The turning point where everyone cashed out and others doing the same to avoid the profit loss and selling too? Do you think the price hitting 78000 once the month is over could be somehow legit? Usually the price won't pass any resistance levels outside constant news, until it's heavily dumped. The current price is pretty fishy.
