Im on the official NOMP pool. It asks me what difficulty I want for X11 . I have about 50mhs combined X11. The confusing part is there are 3 choices. They are this:
Username:
Password:
Algorithm:
stratum+tcp://stratum1.startcoinpool.com:3008 URL (difficulty 0.0001):
stratum+tcp://stratum1.startcoinpool.com:3032 URL (difficulty 0.0001):
stratum+tcp://stratum1.startcoinpool.com:3256 URL (difficulty 1):
Now Ive tried all 3 ports. Notice 1st and second stratum have same difficulty!! Ive tried the 3rd one, and my miner scrolls soooo slow, Im sure thats not right. Can anyone explain which one I should be on?

It has an operational business and professional promoter behind it, but I wouldn't expect you to know that. Most are pretty clueless around here. Anybody know how Max Keiser plans to pump 2 coins (Max and Start)?
I mean, why 2 coins? It doesn't really make sense; why not focus your efforts on just 1 coin.
So what's his plan then? Will he merge them into one or what do you guys think?
And don't say he doesn't have a plan. He's a Wall Street banker and he's got huge backers like Karl Gray so there is some kind of plan.

Exactly my thoughts. I think it's a fantastic business model that should continue to thrive for quite some time. I plan on using the dividends to buy Maxcoin if the gap continues to widen, unless of course I can help support a Maxcoin project or anything else worthwhile on Startjoin. I'm sure that many people who are a fan of startcoin are also a fan of Maxcoin and will probably do the same. This should allow Maxcoin to rise lagging behind startcoin, being levitated by people who want a bargain, especially if they can get 10x or 100x Maxcoin for each startcoin. I think Startjoin and startcoin will do even better in the future when more projects start paying dividends from real world enterprises as well as the charitable ventures that already exist. We're only just at the tip of the iceberg as far as future potential goes and someday BTC could be challenged for the top spot, its just evolution. Will startcoin and Maxcoin be potential competitors for a top 10 coin or better? I believe they have a future that puts them in the top 10. Max Keiser wants to be the next Satoshi Nakamoto |
