1 MB is a small application, not 100 MB. I know you use basically a Linux VM, but still a native c++ Windows implementation would allow a client below 3 MB.
Bitcoin client (with blockchain) is 32GB big. So our lite client is only 0.3125% of it. Also we are living in the year 2015. 100MB is small now a days, with all the retina graphics. Maybe these are stupid comparisons, but in my opinion 100MB is quite small. But most of the 100MB is the application itself. The important parts are only about 5MB big. As soon as the developers version is released you can run the 5MB version in your browser. If you only want to run the library, it is even less. It's less than 1MB. By the way; we use nw.js (formerly node webkit) for Crypti Lite.

Perhaps you would prefer "electrum"? It is a native windows wallet, installer is twice our size, and requires updates if the windows code changes.

You know, if this project keeps developing without hitting major walls again - it's got a chance. I'm very excited to see the real CORE features appear... right now, the crypto space doesn't budge anymore for purely speculative or redundant features which are already present in other coins. The moment Crypti has some really novel and unique features, the market will react accordingly.

Is there a way to see distribution? How many accounts with more than .1% are there? I'm actually not convinced distribution to many people is a great thing in the beginning of a coin - NEM (price, not value per se) is and will continue to run into problems. But, I am curious to see. Crypti Lite v0.2.0 ReleaseAfter days of testing and fixing we can finally launch Crypti Lite (v0.2.0)! It allows you to have all conventional Crypti client functionalities without the need to download the blockchain on your computer. Crypti Lite is a huge step towards a much better user experience, because after the installation you have access to your XCR instantaneous. No need to wait for syncing or loading. How is it working?Crypti Lite connects to a random peer which is online. We think that many of these will be the active 101 delegates. Thanks to DPoS and the underlying functionalities they should be always online and provide a 100% up-time for us. This is only one of the advantages DPoS gives us in various aspects (UX, functionality, speed..). Is it 100% secure?YES! Every cryptographic function, like signing a transaction, is done locally on your PC. That means that no passwords are sent through the network. We implemented all of this into a library, which will be released for developers soon. Can I run a delegate with this?NO! Delegates need to run the normal Crypti v0.2.0 client and they also need to host the blockchain. DownloadsWindowsMac OS This is great, so fast I love it. Should rename this wallet "Crypti Wallet" and the normal Crypti wallet to "Crypti Delegate Node Wallet", seems like this wallet is more user friendly than the original wallet.

Thank you! P.S. In OP you need to put Crypti Lite links first, cause there alway will be more casual users, then delegates. "Full wallet" is only for delegates.

For the naming process, I think maybe just name the current Crypti Lite Wallet, to just the Crypti Wallet. And the current Crypti (Full) Wallet to Crypti Daemon or Crypti Node (just like in Bitcoin). Though it doesn't make much difference in my opinion.

I have updated and add to the Guides Now have a "sync" step added to help with Node uptime, This allows for your Node to be set to "Server Time" and stay in better synchronization with the network. https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/install.mdWhile most of you will find the Crypti Lite Wallet to be pretty self-explanatory... I have created a guide for those who may be having trouble with local clock sync problems and also for the less tech savvy ppl who would like to link their Lite wallet to there friends Node. https://github.com/crypti/crypti-docs/blob/master/WindowsLiteWallet.mdLet me know if you have any questions or need further help..

I would appreciate it, and so will you IF YOU DONT REGISTER ANY MORE DELEGATES for the time being....We are having an update scheduled for Friday.
OK, Crypti Lite Wallet is out. What's the deal now on registering delegates? I've been holding off in doing so because of the post above. Is it time now, or should I wait longer?

Hey Mal, early next week. This is not an easy task like changing a number in the code, it requires heavy testing as we need to introduce this at a certain block height. And this is a first for Crypti if I remember correctly.

Hey, I started a suggestion box for added features since I know how bored the devs are and how easy it is to just pop in new stuff: http://forum.crypti.me/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=43I've actually started a lot of posts over on the new board, not to be a pest but to try and keep relevant new posts coming so there's always a reason for others to keep going back. It's hard to get a new forum off the ground and the key is continually fresh content. Maybe I should start a thread there with more photos of Keri Russell from The Americans...

+1 these excellent suggestions. We will discuss it on our meetings. With all the intensity of work that went into the Lite Wallet, we never even considered coming up with a different name. We usually discuss this internally and come up with a consensus. The community has again come up with some of the greatest suggestions. We will certainly be discussing this at the weekly meeting. This Lite Wallet was a much more difficult project than it seems. I can tell you that the test versions we were running earlier this week took 60 seconds to load on windows machines. Boris and his team were able to get this down to 3 seconds now on most machines. Actually quite an accomplishment.
