Hi guys how's your Node/NAS/NXT Shitcoin doing?
That moment you realise your coin is just one of many and isn't going to be creating any new economy anything soon. Lolololollolololol

That awkward moment when you realize that you named your sockpuppet account after the thing you supposedly despise. It must suck to not be able to say "interested" in the right moment, eh?

Someone here to answer this question? I run nix.runNis.sh and nix.runNcc.sh. But what is nix.runMon.sh for? instead of running both nis/ncc, you can just run Mon, and it will start both nic/ncc and will open the browser for you.

Have 2 questions, Have had some nem now for almost 3 days, Nothing has vested yet. have only one account and tried rebooting couple of times. Ins and outs transfer ok....Although it seems expensive to do at 6 -90 nem. 15 from poliniex + extra...no idea how/why this happens. I cannot find reference to either of these two things in any documentation available yet. Questions? 1) What do you do when vesting does not actually occur? (account has averaged 500k for over 2 1/2 days now.) 2) What is network fee normally? I have 6, 64, 6, 15, and 82. regards, Tacktic.

1) Your XEM turn to "vested" at a rate of 10% of your total amount per day, and you need to have at least 10000 vested before harvesting can begin. 2) network fees are variable, not sure on how they are calculated. The more tx you make, the higher the fee seems to be, at least so far.

Yes, Thanks for the answer but I read all I can find. 500K for one day , should be 50k vested which is 5 times more than 10k. 2 and 1/2 days i should have minimum 100k vested , but I have zero. ............. my question was what to do if they dont vest at all. Mine haven't. and have been confirmed almost 3 days now. ............ if noone has an answer, i will delete and start again, just thought there may be a bug noone with original stake has noticed yet. I didnt have 2.5M at launch I assume all those harvesting do have, and bought these after price crashed on open. .................... The rest of the system seems to be working fine, I can send and recieve ok. I am quite hopeful for this system as mulit sig / contracts will be good for business and that is how to actually change things from the status quo. When they bring these things online, then is when things become interesting. NXT is ok, great in theory, This has the chance to take crypto a little futher along the road of acceptance to public. Regards, tacktic.

Anyone else have problems with a Polo withdrawal?
Did a 961 XEM test, and it worked fine.
transferred 520,000+ XEM and nothing has posted.
did another 100 XEM and that transferred fine.
All transactions say COMPLETE in Polo withdrawal history.
Did you get your transaction?

I didn't understand PoI fully yet. Is there a complete calculation example? can someone tell me, how much more importance i will probably have, if i have 2 stakes with each half of the amount compared to one with the full amount? and will the importance go down to zero, if i just HODL and not use my coins at all for paying or receiving?
poi of all users sum to 1.0 sending and receiving is good for poi combining those two facts, if you have two users having similar amount, one hoarding, other sending + recv some amounts, the former will most likely have bit lower importance. there are other factors too if you have vested balance > 10_000, it's quite unlikely that your importance will go down to zero. thanks, but still this are a little to less numbers :-) and is 2 nodes with unused coins the same as 1 node with the combined amount? shall I sit in front of my computer and send back and forth? probably I will pay more fees, than I can ever earn, right? I just want to know, what I can do, to improve importance. - better internet connection? - more nodes? - setting up dedicated node for others? Do not set up two accounts and send XEM to them back and forth to each other. That will wreck you POI. As far as I can tell most of your POI comes from aging your coins. And then part of it comes from spending and receiving to accounts not related to yours. I aim for at least 90% aged according to my tests in the beta. (but beta network had different users, spending habits, and account bases, so I might be off) Still... spending does have part to do with it. In one test during the beta where I was able to spend very well I was able to get an account with 20 times less NEM to get its POI up to almost the same level as an account that only hoarded. Part of the problem with POI is you will be hitting a moving target. So for instance, as Gimre said all accounts will add up to "1". So it is a 0 sum game. And as far as I know and can tell from testing your strategy that helps you today, might actually hurt you tomorrow depending on what other people are doing, and if they are trying to boost their POI too (just like any other game and strategy). This is because the algo not just takes into consideration what you are doing, but other people too and how they act can also effect your POI even if you stay the same. Think of a soccer player that kicks the ball the same way every time. Against some teams and some games that might help, but in other teams and other games it wouldn't. Now that the main net is starting and the beta is finished, it is like a new team and new game. Really only the main devs know for sure how it works, but they have been very clear that your coins age in over 30 days (really indefinitely but for all practical purposes they are mainly aged in over thirty days) and that your spending (not back and forth to yourself) affects your POI.

Why I'm getting this error? I've 1000 XEM on this account Hi, that is an error, it should be 10,000XEM. It will be fixed on the next edition. Also it needs to be "vested". that means your coins are aged in over time. I would suggest trying out 30,000XEM and letting it age for a four days to get to the vested 10,000 XEM

While OkayNow has always acted well on reddit, it should be noted that he is not an official part of the NEM development team, nor will any of the funds given to him be overseen by the NEM development or marketing team. All funds held by the official NEM team are always held in multisig by at least 4 trusted members of the NEM team. I would encourage OkayNow to do the same with funds donated to him as a security precaution. Time after time in crypto computers are often hacked or passwords compromised. This story is one we are all tired of in crypto and is one that I hope NEM can avoid, so as I security precaution I would encourage OkayNow to put the funds already donated to him in multisig with other trusted and known community members.
