Just to be clear.

While OkayNow has always acted well on reddit, it should be noted that he is not an official part of the NEM development team, nor will any of the funds given to him be overseen by the NEM development or marketing team.   All funds held by the official NEM team are always held in multisig by at least 4 trusted members of the NEM team.  I would encourage OkayNow to do the same with funds donated to him as a security precaution.  Time after time in crypto computers are often hacked or passwords compromised.  This story is one we are all tired of in crypto and is one that I hope NEM can avoid, so as I security precaution I would encourage OkayNow to put the funds already donated to him in multisig with other trusted and known community members.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Please, do not use built-in functionality, to back-up your wallet!
Most likely it will generate incorrect data and backup will NOT be usable.

You can backup your wallet manually. Files reside in ncc directory:

• windows: c:\users\<username>\nem\ncc\
• mac/linux: ~/nem/ncc/

There are always two files: wallet file (.wlt) and address book file (.adb)

I didn't understand PoI fully yet. Is there a complete calculation example?
can someone tell me, how much more importance i will probably have, if i have 2 stakes with each half of the amount compared to one with the full amount?
and will the importance go down to zero, if i just HODL and not use my coins at all for paying or receiving?

poi of all users sum to 1.0
sending and receiving is good for poi
combining those two facts, if you have two users having similar amount, one hoarding, other sending + recv some amounts, the former will most likely have bit lower importance.
there are other factors too

if you have vested balance > 10_000, it's quite unlikely that your importance will go down to zero.

and is 2 nodes with unused coins the same as 1 node with the combined amount?
shall I sit in front of my computer and send back and forth? probably I will pay more fees, than I can ever earn, right?

I just want to know, what I can do, to improve importance.
- better internet connection?
- more nodes?
- setting up dedicated node for others?

Create multiple accounts and send all your NEM in random loops around from account to account and blow this baby up!

But still how does that work?
i started harvesting at the second with about 5.5‱ at 4.5 million XEM. then i sent extra 500k from an exchange to the account.
Then there was a time, where I made many blocks in a row and it was going down again. The importance was stable at that time... at least it shows in the block explorer. or is there only showing my current importance on the block, i harvested?
the extra vested coins are only 50k (a tenth, as it supposed to be), but now the rate is going gradually down although new coins are vested daily... and the last block was 11 hours ago.

I have followed Easy configuration guide to open port 7890 and all must be good,but when i go to http://127.0.0.1:7890/node/peer-list/all

I can not see my NEM node name or ip on list.

yes nem supply is a finite number, you only harvest transactions fees hence it's not staking/inflation, you won't get rich by harvesting (unless nem becomes major crypto) you just support the network by harvesting, it's not a ponzi game.

It seems you ncc is trying to boot a remote node which is not possible.
Can you give more information about the NIS/NCC setup (configuration)?
