I am sure it was already explained somewhere on the thread but I could not find it. What are Supernodes? I know what normal nodes are where the software of NEM is running but what is the difference to Supernodes and what are the advantages / drawbacks compared to "normal" nodes?

Importance refers to the graph theoretic importance of an account (in the netted, directed transaction graph). NEM uses hit/target values to determine harvesters, so I don't think "assign easier hash calculations" is correct. Clustering is used not to detect nodes that can commit "unlawful transactions," but rather to help prevent link spamming as part of the NCDawareRank algorithm.

They might have simplified it a bit, but that is (sort-of) correct. Importance is part of target value. Nicer target == faster reaches hit. Saying that "easier hash calculation" isn't the best phrasing I guess.
