Dear community,I would like to point out the following situation: Some members who have applied to join the New Economic Movement have lost access to their BTT account. In a few cases, these same people have made contact with the development team with a second (new) account in order to claim their token. I have come up with a simple system in which these tokens can be reclaimed by the rightful owner without risking the original owner getting scammed. System: The developers assign two types of priorities to the following accounts: Priority 1 ( highest priority): The original (lost) BTT account. Priority 2 ( lowest priority): The new BTT account. Then, whenever someone claims to have lost access to an account, the developers would have to carefully inspect the case and hand over a so called "temporary token".If the original owner claims the token from the original account at a later point in time, the developers would have to remove the "temporary token" from the list and blacklist the person who had claimed a "temporary token". If the original owner is in fact the same person as the one who claimed the "temporary token", the stake has found it's way back to it's owner. With this simple system, you can help those who are in a bad situation while preventing any scam. Feedback is welcome! To continue with this discussion, when and how are we as a community going to decide what to do with these particular stakeholders?

It'd probably be better to open a vote forum.nemcoin.com (I'll do that). From the reactions here though, I don't think they'll vote in favor or giving lost btt accounts stakes.

I remember the original NEM thread when it was just a few pages long. I have been looking forward to this release the most out of any coin this year (and believe me there have been a lot). This has all the ingredients to be the next blockbuster crypto and I'm proud to be a part of it

I have invested into NEM today! Looks promising, keep up a good work all! Also, what language is NEM written in since I see this is a brand new coin, not a clone?

Theres a huge interest in NEM out there but when things are happening behind the scenes its hard to keep everyone in the community active all of the time BUT... The launch is coming up soon and interest will revitalise and probably price along with it, the NXT asset exchange is pretty exciting I think but I expect NEM AE to be a lot more advanced. It is this that I am looking forward to along with other exciting developments. I also think we shall see a stronger cryptocurrency market than of late.....BTC seems to be on its way back up....

Written in Java, 60 sec block times (off the top of my head, correct me if I'm wrong someone).

What is the maximum number of transaction per second within the NEM network? You all know that the 7 tx/s limitation is a issue.

BTT its the account you just posted with thats linked so its not stolen.. did you username just appear in the list of registered stakes with out you registering? After registering, does my name appear on a list that I can check? If so, where? A confirmation to know everything went smoothly.

Written in Java, 60 sec block times (off the top of my head, correct me if I'm wrong someone). I tested the alpha and the block times seem to be just a little longer than one minute, but yes, more or less a minute.

Written in Java, 60 sec block times (off the top of my head, correct me if I'm wrong someone). I tested the alpha and the block times seem to be just a little longer than one minute, but yes, more or less a minute. The goal is to have an average of 1 minute. Somtimes you get 3 blocks within a minute then the next block will probably take a few minutes. It's all about the avg
