Hello all,

I was referred to this coin as a dead/dying currency in my thread here:- Block Mechanic's revival thread

I would like to revive this coin if possible. I will take a look at the source and make a decision. Any information such as premines, source code links, abandoned plans and what you would like to see done would be most appreciated.

A look at the existing source shows this coin's code is fantastically behind. pending any responses, i'd start with updating the the source to at least rival Bitcoin 0.12. I see that this is a scrypt coin, PoW only, so I'll keep it that way unless someone believes otherwise.

1. strong/stable/quick gravity well^{*can readjust in 3hrs or 9 blocks .MAX  even if hammered / something that readjusts every 60sec.}
2. stick with the 20 min range block (slow is good metric)
3. clear with Polo camp before moving ahead

20 minute blocks ? That seems rather on the extreme... but let me familiarize.  I see it is listed on Bittrex and Poloniex. Can you approach them and see what their position is ?

Is there a functional example of a cryptonote coin with PoS? I was lead to believe the group that investigated that concluded it was not possible, though this was in 2015 to be fair.

The ANN and the code do not seem to match with regards to the rewards.

The big selling point of this coin was the QTL trader tool/bot, and it doesn't work with Poloniex anymore, and Cryptsy is gone, so only works with Bittrex. I have talked briefly to MarKus a couple times over the last year and he said he was going to fix the Poloniex bug in the trader, the price spikes up, and then he doesn't take the freaking 10 minutes to do it and goes awol for 6 months again. I really don't get him, because before that he was always honest and got things done in a timely fashion. Then his real job made him work 60hrs a week and he sold and gave away all his premine so I guess he lost interest. But I wouldn't change a thing other than DGW update and trying to get him to fix the trader, lol

Yes the block reward is pretty low, I do not intend to mess with it, rather just make it clearer. Conflicting information is never a good thing. Especially since i am updating the code to match almost 4 years worth of development, many things will need to be made extra crystal clear so there is no confusion.

With regards to PoW, the more i think on it , the stronger the arguments for adding merged mining.

Low PoW reward means most miners will avoid it unless there is a pump, but having a merged mining pool would result in regular blocks regardless.

It's really up to users.

Just want to point out that the website could be better....loads better.  

Would you please try to contact these guys and get the source code for the trader? It would be a great start, but also, having just the one selling point won't be enough.


edit:- I intend to have multiple vps with pools and block explores setup and paid for for years in advance.

This would be a great coin to revive. I agree we should come up with multiple selling points aside from the trading bot.
The price has a lot of potential if there is a good roadmap. Which surprises me because usually fyrstikken revives dead coins, guess he's too into Steemit at this point in time.
