The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Even though I haven't been involved in this coin very long the dev has followed through on multiple versions of the quatloo trader and his interest doesn't seem like it is in the quick buck but instead producing a quality trading product. I think that speaks for itself and there is no need for a play by play.

Im willing to even help but if the dev comes online ones every 5 days you all know that it wont work. Also he missed deadlines before so its not strange at all. There are so many things that can be improved beside the trade bot

If you dump them, the market will absorb them and find a new bottom... Probably higher than it is now. Can't you see that all of the adults are sick of you?

I don't get it. You need X amount to use the software, that's what gives the coin value. But when enough people buy the coins to use the software, price goes up. Eventually so much that the 1000 QTL needed will be too much of a cost for someone to invest in; ie the software will get more expensive to use, which is not a problem for current users, but it will deter new users.
The option of reducing the amount needed isn't viable as well, as that would make people dump their excess, driving the price lower, negating the reason for the requirements adjustment alltogether.
What's your view on this?

These are some valid points that you have just made. I will hope the Quatloo team can answer these imperative questions. Thanks again for posting this message.

So it IS still under dev then?
Too bad it's not open source, but then it would negate the use of the coin

...sounds like a sneeze.

Doesn't fyrstikken usually build or recover coins collecting them over long periods of time until people give up and sell and then he pumps? Maybe they're taking a similar approach to QTL and the trader, letting people wait in the dark and making the most of a last chance to buy cheap. Who knows they may have finished the software weeks ago.

If the trader is great and they switch Pos i dont see why it atleast should go x10. Also the amount of required for the Trader needs to be not to low not too high. 0.3 worth of btc atm aint a lot for a working Trader.

How would you stake the coin when you have to hold coin on an exchange to unlock the trader? Then people will own more then only needed, take a example at Rubycoin, But if anyone know how to contact the developer. Cause i might be able to make some nice things for QTL, now it just have some small flaws. For example, the coin amount on the website can scare people it says 100 million but to be honest it will never ever reach even 20 million. The blockexplorer is broken (one of them) that one is connected to www.coinmarketcap.com Now this coin looks really hard against inflation but actually its a low inflation coin. So the coin looks like a bad investment , but actually it can be a really nice one. But like the first quote said , they might be up to something just a head up for people

10k quatloos on bit. how can you start up the arbitraging. what pair? do I need to buy that coins before it starts arbing? need help. thanks
Yes. You need coins of the selected arbitration pair on both exchanges. Also make sure you got btc on both exchanges. Then you can perform automated arbitration, as in buy low at exchange 1 and sell higher at exchange 2 and vice versa. Keep an eye on your balance and make sure you not run out of arbicoin/btc. Just keep it balanced so arbitration can be performed. If all is sold to the other exchange, just move some back etc. What pair... is something u gotta decide. In Quatloo Trader you can click "common markets" and select appropriate tab (ie. Bittrex-Poloniex) to see current price difference of al the markets. Just make sure you start with tiny amounts of coin/btc till you get a hang of it. (by setting "btc holdings" and "coin holdings" to a low % ) I can't give u percentages as this is depending on your balance Would suggest not to set arbitrage interval below 30 seconds to make sure your ip won't get blocked because of hammering. Hope this helps . Happy arbitrading
