If you can burn qtl to buy Quatloo trader, they add a few good algos, they add graphs and it goes POS... then 1000x is possible... But lets be honest 10x is probably what it will do

Fyrstikken said on twitter that the new Qtl trader will require .15 btc worth of Qtl held on exchange to run.

This should be interesting, as past versions have only required a specific amount of Qtl.

What you suggest would certainly put it on the right track to 100x or 1000x, but limiting it to .NET in itself is going to keep that ceiling relatively low, other than a temporary spike. Linux is a HUGE percentage of the user base in crypto as a whole, and coding a trade bot in .NET eliminates every single one of those users. It'll certainly be interesting to see how the latest version of Quatloo Trader compares to the previous ones.

Working a year on the tool has it's price, I would say as a developer.

at 50000 QTL thats just over 2 BTC for the bot, where the QTL price is today. If/when the market price of QTL rises, the cost of the bot is just going to go up. No one in their right mind is going to pay that. Maybe if they already have the QTL sure, but they're certainly going to limit themselves to a handful of whales at that price. There are pros and cons to pinning the bot price to both QTL holdings or BTC value.

That's why a .15 btc amount of QTL is perfect...  It will keep demand up this time around.

If everyone bought .15 btc worth at these prices... they would be able to use the bot when it's released (market price will rocket) and sell off the extra QTL for a hefty profit.
