OK, here's my concern. If there is 0 volume at 1 satoshi as it is. How will reducing the coin supply make it all of a sudden worth 100 sats. That is what would need to happen or else we would all be losing all of our value.

If we reduce coin supply and there is still no volume what makes you so sure that this will make it rise above 1 sat? If this doesnt work we all just lost like 99% of our money

You cant lose 99
5 of nothing. That is what it is right now. There are no guarantees this will work but it is a change that might help this coin. Others have had a few months to try and do something for this coin and they did nothing. Someone finally stepped up so we might as well let them try.

In theory, no one is losing any money.  It is an overall reduction in the total supply of coins, spread evenly across the entire network.  If WAS was a company, you would still own the same percentage of the company.

I pointed out in a prior post the current value of WAS, if you figure it from the WAS / DOGE market, and convert that to BTC...  Using that as a starting point, I think as-is, we will see an opening price of WAS 2 around ~10 satoshi.  However, we don't know how the market will respond to a 15% increase in value from PoS.  That will provide some level of demand in itself, as well as a reason for miners and bag holders to hold instead of dump.

Finally, as far as demand / environmentals, we did a 2% pre-mine so that we can provide bounties and fund development.  This isn't our personal money supply, it belongs to the coin and will be invested in a thriving community.

It looks like rpcalert.cpp is missing form the makefile you are using. If you add it in the same spot as rpcnet.cpp and the other rpc files it should compile.

It will happen after block 517,200; which should be sometime tomorrow or possibly Thursday depending on how fast the blockchain runs.

7500 blocks ~ 187K WAS1 still available for grab. I think it will be much harder mining the new WAS using X11.

Anyone else having issues getting blocks in the 0.8.99.9 wallet? Mine says it's 2 hours behind and is stopped at block 509527. There is a warning at the top that says, "Warning: Displayed Transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade"

Edit: I should note, I do have 8 connections in the wallet app. just no activity. In my activity log, it shows the nodes as not responding and connection time outs.

No problem for me and sounds like you're on the prior wallet. Have you tried the latest one from www.was.club?

Yeah, I would redownload the blockchain. You may want to delete your peers.dat at the same time so the client will connect to the seed nodes first.
