Someone is offering to translate our OP to Portuguese for a bounty.  They didn't specify the bounty amount, but showed some examples of their work.  My immediate reaction was to say no, but I figured I'd throw this out to the group.

My Google Chrome automatically translates pages to my native language.  So, I really don't understand the purpose.  But, I guess not every browser does it.

Thoughts?

Examples:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684167.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=674257.0
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

It doesn't take long to Google translate and tweak a little to fix some bot language, but I think it will help getting the words out since it's like having the ANN on another page. How about 250-500 WAS for bounty? Will ACN do the honor to do the first translation too?  Cheesy

Is "setgenerate true" not available in the v2 wallet console?
A coin designed for CPU/GPU mining should have this functionality.

If enough people want it I'll see if I can add it in, until then there are CPU miners available at http://wiki.darkcoin.eu/wiki/Mining_Darkcoin#Mining_Programs
With a CPU you'll probably get 300-500 k/hash.

So with setgenerate you might only get 1/10 of that unless we specify the number of threads. Even though it probably won't generate any coins dues to difficulty. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, in-client CPU mining will also be slower than the dedicated programs because they are optimized a lot better and can connect to stratum pools.

So I haven't open my WAS v1 client in over 1 month, and I opened it and found out that I still had 1.5 million coins in my wallet, am I considered on the richlist for v2?

Nope, but you can still participate in the coin swap: http://www.was.club/coinswap.html (make sure you've upgraded to 0.8.99.9 on the WAS v1 side.)

I am in the process of doing the coinswap, but my WAS v1 wallet it stuck at "Synchronizing with network... 5 days behind 533499 blocks of 567166 blocks" how do I fix that?
it's been at 533499 blocks // 5 days behind, for about 35 minutes now... All the rest of the weeks behind (4 weeks, 3 weeks, 2,1, etc) was fine until now

Make sure you are on version 0.8.99.9, you may also want to delete your peers.dat so it will find and connect to the seed nodes first.

I am on 0.8.99.9
deleted my peers.dat
now still saying the same thing, synchronizing with network... 5 days behind 533499 blocks etc etc
here is my wearesatoshi.conf for v1:

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pw
rpcport=8920
port=8921
gen=0
addnode=66.85.164.76
addnode=184.95.40.150

With addnode's in your config it may not load the default seeds, try adding these instead:
addnode=162.243.15.107
addnode=192.99.37.224

If it still doesn't work I'd delete the blockchain and let it redownload it (ie. delete everything in your data directory except wallet.dat)

I am going to try to delete everything except wallet.dat and the conf file, and see if that helps. so far with those 2 extra nodes I am syncing a bit faster than usual, but let's just see how it will go, at "18 weeks behind" right now

I see some great devs here. Coin looking good. I have some questions though. Total number of coins? It should also be stated clearly in the OP. Pos for first 90 days is 5% or 15% as stated in the OP? Thanks.

Then it should be corrected in the OP. Only 40M coins and price is at 60 Sat?? This is a steal! Thanks for the quick answer. Keep up the good work.

40 Million + PoS inflation for max coin supply.

PoS for first 90 days is 5% / month, or 15% for the period.  It will transition to 1% / month for a 12 month period after that.

Not sure how to make it much clearer...  I put in parenthesis 5% / month, next to the 15% comment.  The other change regarding a single exchange is fixed.
